I used this to patch a leaky skylight. I applied it with several strips going down the roof on each side of the lights, and then at the top, tiled strips from the bottom (closest to the lights) and then up a couple courses, and added a couple of strips under the course of shingles one course above the lights. So far no leaks after a bad storm, so it looks like the problem is fixed for now. The stuff is not cheap though. I found that although it will cut with scissors, it will foul them pretty quick, so a razor blade works best.

(Think flypaper).The Quick Roof product is a nicely dense, flexible strip of high-quality roofing membrane.I really wish I had come across this product a year ago. It is well worth the cost. I saved myself over $200.00 by using this.Make sure to read and follow instructions. This will ensure the seal is tight. Get yourself a wire brush, too.Getting a roller is key. This will squeeze the adhesive to the shingle.Important to note: You may have to plan a little on how you will apply this. You want to shingle it just as your roof is shingled. Start at the bottom of the area and work your way up. You'll have to pre-plan any pipes you need to work around. You'll have to experiment with the cuts. The membrane is flexible, but not thin enough to make a perfect seal w/o cutting to form. I say to do the pipes after the flatter roof as the water will not seep under.

Have not used for roof sealing, but used it to patch loose thread area of soft top, sealing voids in the car cavities, etc., The only dislike is glue on the back side is soft and sticky so cutting the clean line with scissor is messy. Recommend to lay flat on cardboard and cut with sharp knife.

I used this tape on a metal shed. At first it stuck on the roof of the shed well. The following week we had a freeze and rain and it started to peel back and the shed started leaking again.

Product arrived sooner than expected. Application was easy and the product is holding up as expected.
