Azzel Copper Drinking Straws Gift Set Authentic Reusable Straight Perfect for Moscow Mule Cocktails (Set of 4), 8.5Inch

I gave these as a gift and they were well received. I checked in on them yesterday and learned that they are easy to clean and keep drinks cool according to the user.

They are just what I wanted. There great and got delivered quickly.

I decided to switch to reusable straws a while ago but my previous set was stainless steel. They do have a slight taste though and it isn't enough to bother most of my family you get used to it after a while anyways but, my youngest hates using those straws because of the taste. These copper straws do not have a noticeable flavor while using them which makes them a great alternative for my youngest. I would guess that since a lot of water comes through copper pipes that they do have a flavor but it's just less noticeable because we're used to it. I also like that metal straws transfer the temperature of the drink their in so a cold drink will make the straw cold and make the drink feel colder as well.I don't drink alcohol so I've never had a Moscow Mule Cocktail nor will I ever so I have no idea how these work with such drinks. For water and soda (I don't let them use them for juice it's harder to clean out) it works great. You will want to make sure you clean them right away after use no mater what you're drinking. I wash mine out almost immediately after use each time. I usually only use the brush them out when we use them with soda. With water I just rinse clean. They never seem to have any leftover residue or residual flavor form the last use.The only thing I don't love about these is that they are only straight straws. My stainless steel ones are angled so they are much more comfortable to drink from but these aren't exactly uncomfortable to drink from but I do find that for some reason I bump my teeth a lot more on straight straws than on the angled ones. Also I do love the cute case they come in. It looks a bit like a copper pipe and it's nice and compact so I use it to carry the straws in my purse. It's fairly sturdy and durable.

Very nice little set of copper straws. I decided to order these because I had bought a set of stainless steel straws at another store and was not happy with them. Whenever I would use them I would get a strong metallic taste in my mouth. These straws are much better than the stainless steels ones I bought. There is a slight taste from these...but it's not bad and it doesn't bother me enough to stop me from using them.They come in a convenient little case (tube) for easy transport in a purse or bag. They do come with a cleaning brush. The brush does not fit entirely from one end of the straw to the other....so when cleaning you would need to insert the brush in both ends in order to clean it properly.Overall, I am happy with these copper straws. They are much better than the stainless steel ones I tried and I appreciate the handiness of the carrying case. I think these sets would make great Christmas gifts. I had a friend who recently traveled to a location in the states where the restaurants did not provide drinking straws. She ended up having to purchase an expensive stainless steel straw because it was all that was available. If you have any friends who are frequent travelers this would probably be a great little gift for them.

These are gorgeous and obviously reusable copper straws - all you need to do is send the included brush down through them to clean them, but the reason for the 4 stars is that copper, like any metal straw, transmits heat/cold quite well. If you are making a slushy and suck it up through this straw, you will get lip freeze before you get brain freeze! I do like them, though - just need to make sure your guests are aware of the transmission if you are making a slushy for them!

We made the switch to reusable straws in our home to help decrease waste and we are fans. These particular straws are average drinking straw length at 8.5". They are regular width so they will not work for smoothies, boba, etc. You do not want to use the copper straws for hot drinks either! They do pair wonderfully with iced beverages, keeping nice and cool. They clean easily with mild soap. I cannot attest to the actual health benefits of the copper, but maybe an added bonus? My only concern is the outer coating. It feels a little odd compared to other straws we keep in the home and I fear it may wear off after multiple washes. Overall, these are very nice though!

I got these straws to replace my old tarnished copper straws that came with my copper mug set. I love to drink Moscow mules and use the mugs and straws often. What I really like about this straw set is that they have a food safe coating over the copper. My old straws didn't have that and (as you can see in the pictures) they tarnished and became scratched, even though I hand wash and dry them each time. My old straws would also get a funky metal taste after sitting in the drink for a while which I wasn't a fan of. Made me wonder what I was actually ingesting. But these straws are great because the food safe coating prevents any bad taste. I anticipate they will hold up a lot longer as well. They are slightly bigger than my old straws about 2 inches longer and a bit larger in diameter as well (you can see the comparison in the pics) They aren't smoothie sized straws but are the same diameter as a standard plastic straw. They are long enough to easily be used in a variety of mugs or glasses. I really like that the set included a cleaning brush for the straws. However, my only complaint is the brush is a very tight fit to try to use, especially when your hands are wet. It's tricky to get it out of the straws. Other than that, I'm really happy with these.

I have never had a copper straw before so I have nothing to compare it to but I really like them. If you drink pure water you can taste it just a hint (or is it my imagination?) but it's not a bad thing.. it's kind of an improvement. I can't taste anything else when I used it with Pepsi, orange juice, or tea and it made a strawberry milkshake a serious experience! The metal of course gets cold with colder drinks so it makes the drink seem a bit colder with ice. This is a great answer to the whole straw issue because you can take them with you in the container. You can carry them in the car, your purse, briefcase, etc.. they get a full 5 stars from me. Flawless product.
