You can leave them on the stems so they will always be there and you wont have to look for them when you need to put air in your tires. You will have to get standard caps for them as the p/v caps wont fit ( thus the need for this adapter). Well made.

This product does what it's supposed to. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that all such adapters should have some kind of retaining ring, or means of attaching to the bike pump hose so they don't get lost. It would be an easy addition to add.

These seem really tough to get a competent fit with my Schrader air chuck on my compressor. Not at all east to use. Ended up getting an air gauge/chuck made specifically for Presta.

Good quality brass adapters. I was looking ahead at a new bike that has presta valves. The bike shop suggested I buy a new pump for $45 but I knew there had to be a better way. A quick search on Amazon, and I found a far better solution.

It did not really work. I had to revert back to an old pump to get my tires to pump up.

The Adapters from Avenir were exactly what i needed. They fit perfectly on the french style air stems on my road bike. The part that fits into my air compressor was perfectly made. The shipping was prompt and the package arrived exactly as adrvertised. Very pleased with product and service.

These are great. When I first put them on I still could not add air to my tires, so I watched a quick YouTube video that shows you how to use them, you have to unscrew the end before you put these on for them to work.
