Functional and Fashionable Diaper Bag / Backpack
I'm a new parent and I was offered the chance to receive a complimentary diaper bag / backpack to test it out. As a parent with several backpacks, but no dedicated diaper backpack, I was really interested to give this a go. Up until now, I've been using a diaper bag that I really never liked (a sort of traditional diaper bag, not a backpack), and an old Jansport that's just a regular backpack. It works fine, but there's just one large compartment so it's hard to find things quickly when you need them (everything gets jostled around and mixed together).Honestly, this is a very nice and well-thought out bag. My only complaint-- and it's a small one-- is that I had trouble figuring out what the dedicated compartments and straps are for. I had to carefully look at the pictures on Amazon to get the most from the bag. I think the company out to include a little instruction booklet or card with pictures because unless you get back on Amazon to look at the pictures, you may not know what some of the features are-- and there are some cool features. That's about all I don't like. Let's talk about what I do like. The material this bag is made of is sort of a grey denim. Feels very durable, looks good, and is very neutral. It'll go with anything, and I like that (some of the colors and patterns on diaper bags are a little dated to me). This one is pretty minimalist chic. It's rain and water resistant too. A HUGE plus here in the Northwest. I didn't just take the company's word for it: I spilled an entire glass of water on the back of the bag and it slid right off leaving no dampness or wet spots. Like water off a duck's back. I imagine this would help it be stain resistant too-- although I didn't try to intentionally stain it. My son will do that over the next few months. The bag also uses some leather-like accents, straps, and piping. The material looks really good (textured like leather, doesn't scream "vinyl." the four plastic straps all feel sturdy and are on par with Jansport, Patagonia, etc. They seem like they will hold up, and don't strike me as cheap. The bag has enough compartments, but not too many. If that makes sense. Sometimes bags will really try to force you to put everything in a really specific place, and I like that this bag gives you some logical places to put things, but doesn't really get to the point of feeling pushy. For example, there are insulated holders for two cold or warm bottles, there's a spot to keep and easily dispense tissue, two uninsulated places for water bottles, and there's a large sleeve pocket that looks perfect for a laptop, notebook, or tablet, but then the rest of the pockets, compartments, and zippered areas you can do what you like. One other feature is that you can easily strap this to the back of the stroller. I couldn't figure out what the straps were for-- but when I did-- I thought that was a nice touch. I don't like having to take up space in the bottom compartment of my jogging stroller for a diaper bag.On last thing I'll say that sounds obvious, but if you are a parent-to-be and don't know this yet, I want to share it: You are going to wish you had more hands and arms. Between chasing around your kid, holding a water bottle, picking up something that dropped or was thrown on the floor, the last thing you need is to be struggling to hold a diaper bag in your hand. In my opinion, shoulder bags are not much better-- in fact they can be worse. When the bag slides from your back or hip, it swings down like a pendulum and is even more difficult to manage. Also, with conventional diaper bags, you're always putting them on the ground, and who knows how dirty the floor is when you visit a public restroom or diaper changing room. Personally, I think backpack style is the ONLY way to go. But that's me. If you insist on carry the diaper bag more like "purse style" or "handbag style," you can certainly do that with this bag. There are even handles on top that are easy to grab.I hope you found this review helpful, and I think you'll really be happy with this backpack.

A great diaper bag for
I received this bag in exchange for a review. The GoodIt’s so stylish! Can be used by both men and women which is great - my husband and I can both use it without it being masculine/feminine. The colors and piping on this bag make it so versatile! Unlike black, this heather grey fabric hides dirt and dust marks well and looks great! The BetterThe belt buckles on this allow you to hang the backpack off your stroller and allows easy access. I can’t emphasize the amount of times I’ve had to dig thru and bend down to get items from my old diaper bag. With the buckle straps (picture provided) it’s so easy to access anything I need. Truly a great bag. I love it !The BestThe number of compartments are soooo great. I’m able to seperate my sons clothes from his toys and from his food. Unlike some diaper backs with one big pouch this has 3 separate zippered sections and each section has ample storage along with additional compartments/storage space.

Good diaper bag
Was looking for a decent back pack. This has two main Pockets and two small ones. My old had zippered side pockets for bottles. So, I was unable to carry any bottle once my kid grew out of the small sipy cup. So, I was looking for one with open pocket and this one comes with the code open pocket with elastic holder, which is nice. There is also a small pocket at the back of.the bag and I found it very useful to keep keys or cards as it allows you to take stuff without having to take the bag. But be on the watch if you keep both keys and cards, since the other item may drop and you might not notice it.All together, it's a good diaper bag, comes with the changing pad, stroller strap, side pockets for Kleenex. And it could easily be used by husband or kid once I'm done with the diapers. Hope it lasts that long though.Update: Took it for trekking, this bag held well during the trip. The changing pad was a saviour in public changing places. The shoulder strap is decent, it doesn't feel uncomfortable, but not the most comfortable one I have used. And the padded loop handle at the top came in handy when I was not wearing it at back.

LOVE it!
This diaper bag/backpack deserves all of the stars. To say I love it, is an understatement. Before this backpack, I had the regular diaper bags that you throw over your shoulder and it was okay but I didn’t know what I was missing until I got this. There is so much storage space too. The little pocket on the back is perfect for my phone and all the inside pockets in the main compartment of the bag are perfect for everything I need (diapers, wipes, changing mat, diaper cream, and burp cloth). The very front pocket is waterproof which is perfect for dirty clothes. I have had to use it twice when my son has had blowouts. The clips on the back are perfect for clipping the bag onto the handlebar of the stroller or grocery cart. When I used to go grocery shopping, I would have the infant seat and diaper bag in the big part of the basket taking up all the space so I could barely get any groceries. Now I can clip the diaper bag onto the handlebar and fit more groceries in the cart. If I could give this diaper bag more stars I would. You won’t be disappointed with it.

Defective, but easy to exchange
I ordered the backpack for a baby shower, but it came with a ripped seam where the handle met the backpack. I returned it (at a local Kohl's) after completing a form online & received a new one in only 2 days. I love the look of the backpack, but don't know how durable it is as I haven't heard from the recipient of the gift, therefore giving it 3 stars. Hopefully, the ripped seam isn't due to poor workmanship.
