ALONG Windshield Repair Kit - Car Windshield & Glass Crack Repair Kit for Rock Chips

This stuff is amazing! I repaired a 16" crack that started from a rock hitting my windshield from the bed of a truck on the highway.I didn't repair it right away because I didn't know this type of repair product was available. I waited about 6 months and what started off as a 2" crack lengthened to 16". So when I found this on Amazon, I thought I would give it a try. My only other option was to install a new windshield at a cost of about $250. No repair shops would touch the crack since it was over 12".I followed the instructions that came in the kit and now only a few inches of the crack is visible. I'm okay with it as it's barely noticeable and doesn't impede my vision. Had I used this product immediately, I'm sure there would be no crack visible at all.

I guess this works. I followed the instructions for a small crack that should have been easily filled up on my windshield. It still leaves a noticeable mark where the chip was, after using it. I feel like I could have gone to a chip repair shop and paid $20 to have the chip disappear instead of pay $11 to do it myself. If you are just looking for utility in your windshield and don't mind seeing where the chip was this might be for you. But next time I will just go to a chip repair shop.

This product was easy to use. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. My windshield was struck by a rock on the highway. The spider web crack was a little bigger than a quarter. I purchased this product and used it to fix the windshield. It fixed most of the damage. You can still see the impact point but it’s 100 times better. Now it’s not a spiderweb but just an blemish. Good product. Great price.

So I was worried at first when purchasing but for the price it was worth a go. Product worked well for the small crack/chip in the center of my windshield, however closer to the edge of my windshield I have to slightly bigger chips right next to each other, the product filled the chips and I'm convinced it will help it from spreading. Overall worth a try before buying a new windshield.

Overall, I was happy with this product. It did not completely erase the spot where the stone hit the windshield, but it does look much better. And I know that the spot is sealed so that it won't crack worse. It was very easy to use, and went exactly as was stated in the directions.

Of course it cannot fix a big crack but it works ok for small chips on the windows. Strong strong chemical smell on the liquid. Try not to touch if you can because it's very hard to get rid of the smell from your hands.

Arrived quickly. A little confusing with the suction tool at first but you get the hang of it easily. Suction power was pretty good. Did the job and fixed the small crack in my windshield. Overall good product and worth the money.

This windshield repair kit does perform what it is supposed to. Of course you will not be able to fix foot long cracks that are already went till the edger of the windshield. however as a quick fix - it fixes so-called bulls-eye or spider shaped cracks. The resin, if applied with regards to instructions, fills all gaps in between glass layers and once UV lamp / sun treated - cracks disappears if not completely, but big time!Thanks!
