Probelle Hydrating Base Coat, Clear, .5 Fluid Ounce

I love this product! It is the absolute best product I've ever used for my dry brittle nails. And I've tried them all, literally. My nails are healthy and growing again. Thank you!

I like the price and that it came quickly from the seller. Glad to have found this here because I have not been able to find it at any drugstores.But the jury is still out on whether or not this product delivers- it says it moisturizes and nourishes nails. . But it’s been a couple of weeks of use and I don’t see/feel that just yet.Will try to send an update later.

My nails are forever splitting and, to be quite honest, they look a bit tatty. I have tried many products that promise the earth but they invariably don’t live up to expectations. I liked the sound of this base coat because not only does it restore dry and split nails but it hydrates and protects them as well. You can obviously use it as a base coat for nail colour or, in my case, I used it alone. I really like the fact that it gave my nails a nice shine, but not too over the top more of a natural, healthy look. It was easy to apply and dried quite quickly. Whilst it’s not a miracle cure, it did make my nails feel stronger and so far no new breaks. If my nails continue to improve I will use this as a proper base coat and paint them but I rather like the natural look.Another thing I liked is how it feels when it is on because sometimes with a strengthening product it can make your nails feel heavy (but maybe that’s just me!) but this didn’t. I think it is a little bit pricey for a base coat but, having said that, it is one of the best that I have used.

I tried the Probelle clear hydrating base coat on my fingernails as they have been very brittle and flaky after a bad experience with acrylic polish. The friend who applied it told me I could remove it by soaking my nails in nail polish remover, and for about three months my nails have been terrible.The Probelle clear base coat looks green in the bottle, but it goes on clear. It is nice and liquid, so it’s very easy to apply a nice thin coat.I let the first coat dry for a good 10 minutes. It seemed to dry faster, but I’ve been caught out before.I applied a nice thin second coat which left my nails beautifully shiny without any ridges. I followed up with a coat of a pale pink nail varnish.When I remove the coloured nail varnish, I shall immediately apply at least one coat of the Probelle hydrating base coat to keep my nails protected.This product is £11.60 at time of review, a bit on the pricey side, but a standard clear nail polish is about £8 now, so with the hydrating keratin and vitamin E it’s a fair price to pay.

I can't say how pleased I was to get this Probelle base coat to try. I recently reviewed Probelle - a Miami based company's - top coat and it was the best I'd ever used. No surprise the that this Probelle base coat is the best base coat I've tried too.It's packaged in a branded card box that looks very much like the top coat. Inside, a glass bottle contains a transparent emerald green liquid that applies clear. I just applied one coat. It is easy to apply and dries quickly. And it makes a great base for nail polish. If you want to achieve a good, smooth finish to nail polish and not have especially darker coloured polishes stain your nails, a base coat is a must have.With keratin and vitamin E, Probelle's base coat, though it may be a little more expensive than some high street brands, is hydrating and cares for your nails at the same time as giving a great base for nail colours. So this is a nail treatment as well as a base coat. In my view, it's good value and should last a long time. I'll be buying it again.

I suffer with terrible nails, they have always been thin, constantly flaking and splitting, although since using this hydrating base coat, and I’ve only put on one layer, and it has lasted a whole week and counting, with no splits or chips encountered so far. It certainly feels like it’s made my nails stronger.It applies easily and smoothly, and drys quickly. I have only been using this on its own, as it gives a natural look and faint shine. But if it continues to stop my nails splitting and protects and continues to harden them, I will use next with a top coat.I am happy to recommend this product.

My nails are usually quite dry, brittle and split easily regardless if I apply a quality base coat or not and a color for extra protection. I have been using propelle hydrating base coat for 2 weeks now and what a difference even after the first application.This greenish liquid base coat rich in keratin and vitamins penetrates and dry instantly, has no smell ( thanks for the formaldehyde free formula) leaving my nails hydrated, strong and smooth with a lovely shiny finish.This base coat is wonderful if you need extra protection when wearing a nail color( to avoid discoloration or white spots) but also if you have discolored nails and wish to go bare for a more healthy natural look. For the first time in a long time I found the perfect product for my nails and I am not going to change anytime soon.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
