Nice small weatherproof box for your electrical/electronic projects.

Very nice case - although the bolts are black, not silver as shown in the photo (that's a plus for me, so no stars off).I'm using it to house two momentary switches hooked in series and controlling the CMOS reset short needed now and then.I wanted a safety - just having a single switch on it would have meant likely accidental clearing of my BIOS, but with TWO switches, both needing to be pressed to short the pins, it's just what I need.The box matches my PC's color scheme (red and black) and is easily drillable for mounting and pass-thru holes. The bolts seat nicely in the countersunk holes in the face-plate and screw into what appear to be brass spline nuts fitted into the plastic at the corners of the box.It has a robust, durable feel.I'll likely be back for more if I need another project box of this size.

Good project box.

Good quality project box; doesn't feel like it's made of cheap plastic on an equally cheap mold. There are small ridges inside to give your board some spacing (not sitting flat on the bottom) and the included machine screws thread into brass inserts for a clean, smooth, and perfect enclosure.

The walls of the box are thicker than cheaper boxes I've used. At least at this smaller size, they don't have as much flex as I normally see with ABS boxes. The screw holes also have metal inserts instead of just being plastic. Much better quality and attention to detail than cheaper boxes.

This box came with no screws. It had an empty zip lock pouch inside it that I assume the screws were supposed to be in. Not very good inventory/quality control. Wouldn't recommend this if they can't even make sure that the screws are included.

I have been using Hammond project cases for many years and they always get the job done. This one is no exception. I installed a small LED light on the side wired (underground) to my garage to a N.C. switch which I use to show when the overhead door is open. This case was very easily drilled to accept the LED and also the wiring coming into it.

Great quality, great price. The box feels very sturdy.My favorite feature is the metal inserts for the screws that hold the lid on. This makes the threads much less likely to strip.
