Rubin RS-101 Zebrawood 21" Soprano Electric Acoustic Ukulele

Now I won't say this is the absolute best thing you could ever spend money on, it is far from disapointing. the pickup sounds good, the uke is solidly built, and the zebrawood veneer looks outstanding. Nice finish level and definitely a great find and a great price. The picture overstates the tone of the wood, expect a lot less contrast in the color, and also expect to spend a good amount of time re-tuning the strings the first few weeks. It's a few months old, and is holding pitch delightfully well now. It's a really friendly instrument, easy to pick-up and noodle on in the moment.

The sound was very mellow and smooth. Takes about a week to stay in tune , especially the C and E strings. After that, it will sound amazing. Love that the fret board was a little wider so my fingers won't interfere with other strings while playing. In the beginning , the body of the uke was rubbing against my arm and it felt scratchy. But now its totally fine. Great buy for an affordable price. I returned my Kala Concert for this one since it was cheaper and because the Kala C string kept buzzing even after playing it for 2 -3 weeks .

I am a ukulele newbie. It does take a while to get it as it ships from China. I also bought a Snark SN6 Clip-On Ukulele Tuner. ($5.99) This morning I found that the uke stayed in tune all night. So it took about 5 days for the strings to stretch. Not bad at all. And it sounds pretty good.All I need to do now is figure out how finger placement so I can play a few cords.I don't have an amp or cable so I can't comment on the electrics.

To start off I would like to say that the package arrived about three weeks before the estimated time which was nice. After receiving it the ukulele tuned nicely and after playing it for about a week I can honestly say that for $50 this is one of the best ukulele purchases I have ever made. After testing the electric side of the ukulele it is very nice and yet again for $50 you can not beat it. The only problem I'm running into is the fact that it does not hold a tune compared to other ukuleles I have owned and used.

I am in LOVE with this cute little thing ' I was terrified to open the box, and for me not to like it, but as soon as I ripped it open, I fell in love ' I have yet to try out the electric part, but acoustics are amazing 'UPDATE*****Purchased a mini amp for this amazing acoustic ukulele and I put the electric part of this to the test, this is honestly my favorite ukulele in my collection of ukes. i am pretty impressed with this <3

Great looking ukulele! I'm a beginner, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Looks like it's really nicely made. Doesn't look cheezy at all. Can't beat it for $49.00

Super Fast post and a solid top and with a pickup GREAT VALUE after a bit of setup ( strings change and tune) this things plays Great playing guitar for 30 + years now i can say i play Ukulele I brought it for my 9 month old son but no it's too good IT'S MINE !!! =)

This instrument came in only two week, even though it was estimated to come in a month and a half. Right out of the box this instrument sounded great. I have played guitar for a while now, but I am new to the ukulele. This is a good one to start with in my opinion. For the price I doubt that you can find a better acoustic electric uke. I haven't tried out the electronic side of it yet though. All in all it is a great uke.
