These pillow covers were much nicer than I was expecting. The cotton is thick and sturdy and an interesting weave that adds texture. The reason I've deducted one star, and the reason I'll be returning them, is that the zippers are ridiculously challenging to operate; I also don't trust how long they will hold up. As these pillows are for a high use couch and I have animals, being able to easily zip and unzip so that I can take the cushions out and wash the covers is essential. The zipper issue is a deal-breaker for me. BTW: the background color is a warm cream. My other (smaller) complaint is that these covers are not really 20 x 20 as advertised. It was a tight squeeze for my 20 x 20 cushions, but I got them in and they look okay, though the pillows now don't have the softer feel I want.

Not the softest pillow but it sure is beautiful. It looks high end and the colors are true to the photo. I love it for decoration.

These are beautiful until you wash them. After I washed them, they pretty much became useless. Don't waster your money.
