Great value
I live in south Florida. This umbrella is up all of the time. Full sun, full rain. I spent moreon the heavy base than umbrella because I can’t secure it to our pool deck. Only taken down in high winds. I just realized I bought this two years and a half years ago. The top of the dark blue fabric quickly faded in the sun to an almost white pale blue, I actually liked that. I started to spin the bottom part 180 degrees every few months to correct when it started to lean. The cord used to wind it up broke inside at about the two year mark, I used bungee cords to keep it up while I figured out what to replace it with. The stand finally broke in surprise high winds the other day while I was at work and couldn’t retract it. This might all sound bad, but considering I only spent about $100 on it, I am amazed!I would have guessed over $300. I will buy again and again unless we splurge on an awning.

Weak plastic parts
Assembly was ok and it looks good all set up. Concerned about some of the plastic parts. They were showing signs of stress out of the box and have only got worse.Update. Broken. Didn't even last a year.

Beautiful addition to our deck!
The umbrella is gorgeous and makes my otherwise sunny deck about 15 degrees cooler. My deck is my new sanctuary thanks to the umbrella. It was very easy to assemble and I was able to get pavers to put in the grooves from my local hardware store. I opted for the square pavers rather than the sandbags only because I had a planter I wanted to sit behind it and needed a flat space. The umbrella was easy to assemble. I’m a 5’10” woman and did it alone fairly easily. I wish it pivoted a bit but it’s fine. It takes a while to figure the lift and when to open so you don’t take peoples heads off but I think that’s just the offset nature of the umbrella. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is because I notice when I have it fully open somehow it starts closing a little. The crank loses tension and it starts closing and I noticed that it’s not staying open fully. So that’s a little annoying. I’m trying to see if it’s a true defect or operator error. I’ve had it for about 3 days and so far it seems to be a defect. But overall I am very satisfied with the blocking of the sun. I LOVE the color. It’s just all coming together really well and I am very pleased with the purchase.

Great Source of Shade for Patio
We don't have any trees near our patio, so we needed something to offer some sun protection while outside. This performs the job well and is adjustable to track the sun as it moves. The cantilever works well to reorient the umbrella to block late afternoon sun when it's more to-the-side than overhead. The umbrella is sturdy and holds up to sun and rain (you should put it down when it rains, but it will hold up to light rain) without fading. The pole and lever mechanism are primarily plastic, so I have concerns about the stress points lasting long-term, but after a few months they are holding up well so thus far my concerns are unwarranted. In case it's not evident in the product description, you NEED a sandbag or weights attached to the base. This product doesn't support itself at all without grounding the base somehow. Regardless of the umbrella position, the center of gravity will cause this to tip at the slightest nudge without reinforcing the base/adding weight.Once the base is secured, this is a very well-performing product for the price.

If it falls over it *will* break.
I absolutely loved this umbrella. Everything was perfectly fine until the wind caught it and blew it over. One of the ribs snapped and two others came unattached. I only had it for just under two weeks and now it's broken. As you can see in the pic we had big bricks holding it down plus a bag of dirt that isn't pictured because I put it on later that day. This thing is massive so it didn't take much wind at all to catch it right and blow it over. I'm just so sad because this thing was awesome and expensive and now it's just busted.

Plastic elbow that hold it upright cracked after a month of use
It’s a beautiful umbrella, size is perfect however the plastic piece that hold the elbow into place snapped after a month. Useless without this piece. It also blows a lot! We have our stand dug into the dirt a bit with weights on top to make it extra sturdy and that works great- unfortunately now we have to un- do all of our work to try to return it It also does not tilt at all so certain times of the day we can’t sit out there at all. This is our fault for not reading enough on it The third picture shows it leaning somehwhat, that is what the wind does although it has never tipped. You get what you pay for- spend the extra money for something better. Do not recommend this umbrella at all

5 stars
I bought this patio umbrella for the backyard of my home and it provides great shade for my family and guests that come over to visit. I live at the beach and it gets very windy. I also chose because it has the rotating 365° option. Out of the box everything looked great and set up was very easy. This is very easy to use and adjust the umbrella to where you would like block sunlight. You don't need to be a strongman or very tall to adjust this umbrella. This umbrella has a very nice tiered canopy that lets air flow and it can be titled up to 90 degrees to act like a sunscreen when the sun is really low. Fabric is good and the steel frame and the steel umbrella construction is top notch. Opening the umbrella was pretty easy, there is a switch you move through the direction the arrow is pointing within seconds its completely opened, I would definitely keep this for very long time

Doesn’t tolerate sun or wind
Super easy to assemble. Provides a decent amount of shade. We don’t get crazy strong winds, but needed more than 100 lbs to anchor the base. The fabric faded in the sun and the piece that holds the umbrella upright fatigued and cracked. We just had the terrifying experience of it catching like a sail and blowing over while we were relaxing under it. Blew over sideways and bent the leg stabilizers. Less than a year and headed to the trash.
