Interesting
Went over my head for a while until I knew more things. Beginners won't get much use out of it for a while but it's a fairly rare book so I would get it.

It's ok but as some one who has worked with this material for over 40 years I found it a bit repetitive and only bought the book because I stupidly fell for the title!!

Concise, intensely detailed, study companion
The Work of VH Frater YShY is a clear indicator to the intrinsic occult value of the Golden Dawn tradition. The author is exceedingly precise and detailed in his descriptions of furnishings, concepts and visualizations, while making clear to the reader that all magical operations are to be fine-tuned by the practitioner. His explanation of the Z documents was very easy to understand by a reader with less awareness of unpublished source work. The reader will see new approaches to familiar concepts, with enough middle-ground covered to easily grasp what is written between the lines.Western Occultism is a veritable maze of enmeshed, often conflicting ideas; making it difficult for the newcomer to separate wheat from chaff. This book is not geared towards newbies, rather it is written towards the serious student seeking the Philosopher's Stone.A good purchase for the Soul and for the bookshelf. Light, to VH Frater YShY for making his work available to the public!

Concise and Accessible
And if anyone has tread the halls of esotericism for long, you know that conciseness and accessibility are hard to come by in this realm. It's a testament to the author, who clearly knows his stuff, here. He sets up correspondences that seem obvious--and yet no one has put them forth in print before. There are many A-ha tidbits scattered throughout. This should be part of the curriculum for anyone involved in this path, forming an extension and commentary on the Z-docs. Highly recommended.

A Must Have For Any Magician
A great work by a fine man. In the quagmire of occultism it is important to know who we should listen to for advice and teachings. I can recommend this teacher most highly and sincerely. Though from a slightly different branch we are all on the same tree.

A nice addition to the library of anyone working with the RR et AC rituals, particularly solo practitioners, or any Thelemite who may be curious about Old Aeon stuff. :)

Legitimate and Genuine
Frater YShY displays the aptitude of one who is not only highly familiar with the intermediate grades but who has advanced concepts of the Adept Golden Dawn to their next level within themselves. This explores beyond the surface many of the elements of the Work at play within the Adept and the Golden Dawn tradition for one who is already immersed in the Work. A veritable tool for the burgeoning adept.

This book offers great insights into the "z" documents
This book offers great insights into the "z" documents. It has differed from other commentaries in that, the authors exegesis is profoundly researched, he offers his own insights on the matters, and it stays true to the facts found in the "z" papers. I appreciate how this author gets to the point and organizes his thoughts into headings. There is absolutely no fluff, each point is eloquently stated and well thought out. Where I think this book shines is its comparisons to Freemasonry and pagan ceremonies
