Worked well, but needs different handling than other phosphate media
One tip if you're thinking of trying this product: Make sure you have a way to keep it in your media reactor. This product is made up of very small granules of material. When I put them in my reactor (a DIY contraption modeled after a Phosban reactor) and turned on the water flow, quite a bit of the media was flushed out of the reactor by the water passing through it. I siphoned it up, put it back in the reactor with a sponge pad on top and managed to get it to stay put until it was exhausted and I put it aside for later regeneration.In my opinion, this product's best feature is its lack of dust (most GFO based products end up clouding the water unless you rinse them very thoroughly and keep the flow rate down). I had no dust problem with this product.
