This book and the rest of the books in the series should be on every toddler's bookshelf. It has been the best way to change an attitude that we have found. After all how long can you continue throwing a hissy fit when If You're Happy and You Know It is being sung.This delightful little board book has brought our family lots of laughter and silly antics. You already know the lyrics and I'm sure you can even add some additional verses. I'm pretty sure that your family with have as much fun with it as we have.Ms. Szucs whimsical drawings of animated animal characters are just icing on the cake. The colors are bright and very engaging. Our little ones loved finding and identifying all of the animals included on each page.This book really would make a wonderful addition to your little one's personal library. It would also make a perfect baby shower gift. You would be doing that new momma a favor and she wouldn't even realize it.I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.

My children are all grown up now (they are 27, 26 and 24 — oh my!), but I remember when they were preschoolers full of energy and ready to go! Getting them to sit still for story time was a challenge. The newest book in the Sing Along series from Zonderkidz, If You’re Happy and You Know It combines the needed release of pent-up wiggles and giggles with a colorful board book with cute illustrations. This book encourages kids to move as it engages a number of senses. My kids loved this song when they were young, and I think your special child will enjoy moving, singing, and reading along with this sturdy board book. Little kids love to sing, and this is a great book for leading sing-a-longs for little ones. The colorful pictures will keep the engaged, and the back of the book includes music for a pianist or organist to play--or for older kids to use for music lessons.My daughters both loved this book, looking at the colorful pictures and singing along with it. This would be ideal for Christian daycare workers, Sunday School teachers, pre-school workers and more -- in addition to parents, grandparents, etc.Don't miss this colorful sing-a-long book! I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are my own.I have to be very honest I had some high expectations for this book as I really thought it would be more than the original song. I thought this book would have some Jesus in it like "If your joyful and you know it shout AMEN." Or "if you know Jesus forgives you high five a friend."I know those are some high expectations and there is nothing wrong with the original words of the song. In fact, they are fun and lift many moods. I guess I was hoping for a Christian theme to run through it as well.This board book is still sure to delight any child who is eager to clap and shout and sing along!
