I used this product specifically to back my tufted rugs and honestly its super quality paired with E6000 adhesive. It hides the edges of backing on your rug and just gives it an overall professional look. The inch wide is perfect - I think smaller or larger would be too much.

Making UV/Heat protectors for motor home and use this for reinforcement of edge of shade cloth to hold it in place and prevent sagging. Made front windshield, driver's window, and 4 wheel well covers. It dropped my inside temperature 5-10 degrees, and it keeps the UV from rotting the tires. Shade cloth from any home repair facility such as Home Depot, Lowes, etc., twill reinforcement, brass grommets to hang with, and Command hooks, and a little sewing. Saved over $400.00.

I don't know what the specific purpose of this is, but I bought it to replace draw strings in shorts/sweat-pants/etc. It's OK, but I find it a bit too thin for that purpose. It works OK, but I'd really like to find something a bit thicker. It could very well be a five star product for your purposes. The reason I felt justified in dinging them a star was that it does tend to stretch and thin out when pulled and it seems like the weave of it could be tighter.

I used this to tie rustic looking ribbons on vases. I loved the way this looked. Some reviewers complained it was too thin for sewing, but it's thinness is exactly why I wanted it. You can use it for ribbon on vases or gifts or wine bottles or whatever. I used it on vases. Love this stuff. I will buy this again.

This twill tape was a great value so I was surprised when it was also great quality.
