Fun and Atmospheric
We have a variety of medieval and renaissance CD's that we play at my workplace for guest atmosphere, and this is easily a favorite of mine. It really sets a bright tone and the music is well-played. I will absolutely be looking at these musicians again for music in the future.

At last I find an old friend...
...from 14 years ago."Dance of the Renaissance" played lullaby after lullaby for my new love and I as we made our journey from one state to another 3,000 miles apart and our new life began together. My clearest memory is dancing one night beneath the April moon with him to this CD. We wore out the cassette long ago. Today, I have found the CD and will once again be lulled to that space that only this music can bring us. If you love romantic collections that each sound just as beautiful as the last, this one is it! I look forward to owning a new copy that I can play over and over - and I intend to purchase more music by this talented, moving artist.

Definitive
If your an expert, casual listener or someone just wanting some good Renaissance music for an upcoming festival or whatever this is in my opinion (so far) the definitive Renaissance cd I've come across.

My favorite
This is my favorite renaissance music album so far. I love listening at work where It keeps me relaxed and focused on the task at hand. I can listen to these songs over and over, not a bad one of the bunch. What more needs to be said?

I've always wondered if I lived a past life during the Renaissance. When I listen to this music, I think, "if I didn't, I should have."

Renaissance style, not sound
This is nice and easy to listen to music of a Renaissance style but not quite period sound. The song I Wonder As I Wander is an evocative instumental but doesn't quite fit the period. The instruments can carry the style somewhat but the steel string guitar doesn't quite fit, and there is no lute or Viol , nor shawm or crumhorn, so its more like Renaissance music played with modern instruments. I suppose that I'm happiest with period sound with period instruments.
