it looks nice in place, and we use it more than we thought we would as we've not had a coffee table for a while. it was easy enough to build, i didnt it myself in about an hour or so. The only thing i'd say is that it isn't the most sturdy table, so i'm cautious about the kids leaning on it, but its ok.
