Persistent, High-Performance Easily Ignited Tinder
An excellent, persistently burning, readily ignitable tinder. I performed a single test, first dousing the tinder ball with water. It was then cut in half to expose the tinder "fluff" inside. It took fire immediately from the sparks generated from a single strike to a ferro-cerium rod. The hot and persistent fire from only 1/2 of the tinder ball was able to readily ignite a pile of dry sticks serving as kindling with no difficulty. The burn time of the half-tinder-ball itself was certainly more than 5 minutes, but was probably accelerated somewhat by the fire that it had served to ignite. I am very pleased with the performance of this product and will certainly carry and use it in the future. Moreover, my original delivery from Amazon was complicated by the tin having opened up inside the shipping container (tin had not been properly taped or sealed shut, and opens quite easily), wherein several tinder balls were lost. Immediately on conveying this information to Zombie Tinder, a replacement shipment was dispatched to me, and delivered 2 days later. Kudos to Zombie Tinder for flawless customer service!

Works anytime, anywhere!!!!!
I first purchased these just to give them a try but now buy them as a staple in my fire kit. I went out one day for some dirt time and discovered my wetfire tinder didn't work. Apparently after a certain amount of time the air in those individual packages leaks out or is absorbed and the tinder is no longer any good. With this zombie tinder..............this stuff works wet, dry, hot, cold, windy, it just works. Takes a lighter to light the fuse portion or you can cut into the middle, fluff up the fibers inside and light it using a ferro rod. IMO this is a must have for any fire kit.
