RINALDI Hand Forged Italian Tyrolean Axe 307n5m

This is a great axe. I am sure it could be said there are higher quality axes that are no doubt more expensive that are made in Sweden. But I love using this one. With it's wide bit it is a great axe to use for scrubland. I also use it to break down well seasoned logs that I have already taken a maul to. This Tyrolean/Trento axe has a handle that is much improved over the original ones that were on offer with a head kept in place by friction. The one I received from Wiseman was secured with what looks like a round safety wedge. I had been desperately seeking to get another one of these axes because my first one is a joy to use and I like to have a backup of the tools I find absolutely essential for when "the happening" goes down. They seem to go fast so all I can say is if you have been thinking of getting one you better hurry before they sell out. I have been waiting for over year for someone to stock this axe.
