Nice Lights with Too many adjustments to suite me
These are around 23' total, A tick over 16' being the lights and rest cable.Seems very heavy duty and after about a week all still light.08/31/2015 UPDATEAfter a couple weeks the lights glowed weak, I removed the screws to find a loose wire from cold solder joint.Decided to replace that standard Green POS battery with one with some UMPH replace 600MAH with a 1.2MAH one.So as not to destroy the small delicate inner working of the light I used this method.Cut the Red and Black wires for that food weak Green battery, Throw that fool Green Battery in Recycle container.Get a stronger Higher MAH 1.2 Volt Battery, Strip the ends of the Red and Black wires, Taping the red to the Battery + or raised contact point and the Black wire to the - or flat point, gently press the tape all around the ends and insert in Battery holder, This holder is tight so it holds the tape on the Battery. Close up the case and the then the lights have some Giddy up go. Also I did the same to the cold solder joint as to use a soldering iron in tight confines I would either burn the unit or Myself neither of which was acceptable.I know this is a pain but it works and with better batteries this device rocks. 2nd Update 09/11/2015I figured with all my adjustments with placing larger MAH batteries in these it would change the outcome, Sadly that is not the case. The light tube itself seems to be very nice, The spoiler is that food Solar Panel, 1st being the soldiered in batteries, 2nd being the very small MAH of said Batteries, 3rd being the shoddy workmanship of the solar panels ( Cannot blame the Chinese ) The Panels are too small to put the Giddy-Up-Go into any battery for any length of time.I shall remove these and use for experiments, 2 Solar Panels running 1 set of lights. You desire great lights, go with hallomall, LederTEK or Sunforce. These lights work all time, anytime

A life saver on the top of a mountain at night!!
These little things really saved us! We tried them out for the first time on a camping trip up into the mountains with ZERO light or electricity for miles. I put the solar panel in the dash/windshield for the 4 hour drive to our campsite in the middle of nowhere. Obviously it was pitch black out, so we stretched these up between two trees and plugged them in hoping for the best. They were surprisingly great! They put off a great amount of light after the few hours charge we gave them in the window driving. We made our hot dogs and s'mores under them. They lasted hours and hours as we sat around the fire late into the night. They were still shining bright as we climbed into our tents and went to sleep. We set the little solar panel out in a sunny spot the next day; and they continued to give us great light the entire second night as well.Construction seems solid especially for the price. The entire thing is small and very lightweight. Could absolutely be used as a great hiking light source in my opinion. The rope light seems like it would be reasonably waterproof (thankfully we didn't test that out on our trip). The solar panel seems a little flimsy and small, but we were careful with it and it worked perfectly for us with no trouble.I just ordered a second string of these to add to the other for even more light in our camping gear. I can't wait to break these out on our next trip again!

Headline is misleading as the lighted length is 16.5'
The lighted length is 16.5' not 23'.While the description does state that the 23' includes the (unlighted) power wire, the fact that the headline states the length as 23' is misleading because typically the description of a rope light length is the LIGHTED length only, making the headline misleading when comparing with other products. This is the main reason I have rated it as average.I ordered 5 and all worked on arrival. The power cord between the solar cell/battery and the lights is very thin gauge and will need to be installed carefully. The tubing is a soft plastic, not the harder plastic which is usually found on 120v lights.

These look so good on the gate to my Ducky Perimeter!!! ^_^
They were really easy to install and they're really bright too!!! O,OThey've been through rain a few days straight and were still running on flash mode through the 3rd evening with almost no sun to charge them!!! @_@I really like these, but the one thing I'd advise is switching the rechargeable 800mAh AA battery in them with a 2350mAh AA Duracell!!!They'll never use more than half of what they take in in a day so why not give them a bigger power cell to store the run-off energy right. ^_^

LTE Solar Rope Lights
I used the LTE 50 LEDs Solar Rope Lights all summer in my screen house. It is the end of the summer and the lights still emit a strong amount of light. These lights last pretty much all night long. I plan on using them during the winter holidays. these lights are an excellent product.

Good lighting for my camping trailer.
These lights do just what I was wanting them for. I hang them on our traveler trailer awning to give off a soft light similar to a night light. If they have received a good daytime charge the lights last all night. The light is not bright enough for reading but just bright enough to illuminate the area under the awning for other activities.

Worth the price
Super bright, but dimmable. My 15 year old has these in her bedroom as some fun lighting and also to light up her extremely dark closet. They were great and I am extremely satisfied with them. You can buy less expensive lights, but they won't be LED, nearly as bright, dimmable, and they won't have a remote. These are top of the line and worth every penny!
