Ok, I guess...
If you want to learn piano with classic-style practice pieces, this may be for you. The pieces gradually increase in difficulty in a manageable way. However, the book provides very little music theory background and does not really clarify which skills each exercise is supposed to be building. I felt like you could play the pieces after a while, but don't really learn much about playing anything else.

Good series
A good series of books; there's plenty for the adult student to be getting on with themselves inbetween lessons - lots of reading etc and a nice cross-section of pieces which should appeal to most people. Fingering is good and the progression of difficulty carefully managed.

Very enjoyable and easy to follow
Speedy delivery. I enjoyed the first book in this series. Very well put together with the beginner in Mind and now a gentle progression with a bit more challenge for book two. Enjoying this as much as the first one

I like This
I have all three books in this series. I like Carol Barratt's style; she makes learning a pleasure. Whether you are a complete beginner or somebody, like me, returning to the piano after a long break, The Classic Piano Course is a good place to start.

Brilliant book
Brilliant easy to follow book for my 9 year old as recommended by his music teacher.
