Worked well for 27 months
I used this headset connected to a MAC laptop and occasionally on an Android phone.Except for a volume issue, these headphones performed quite well. My only issue was sound volume being too quiet. I believe this to be an "as-designed" feature, but I have high-frequency hearing loss and the volume (at max)...for me...was sometimes inadequate and I couldn't hear very well. This is not necessarily a problem with the headphones, but others with my type/level of hearing loss may have trouble too.The quality of sound through the headset is very good IMO and the microphone output/quality is also very good after listening to a recording of myself. The mic boom feels sturdy and is a good size making it easy to adjust. As far as comfort, the headset is very comfortable IMO and still shows no sign of wear after using them almost 5 days a week the entire time I have owned them. They still look brand new!The failure that I am just now experiencing in month 27 of using this headset has to do with its output/mic. During a meeting, others were suddenly unable to hear me. The light indicator on the headset cable switch would illuminate then go out and I could not be heard. I was not able to figure out what was the cause of the issue.7/6/2022 - I have reached out to the company and they are already working with me to fix the issue! That is great customer service!

THANK YOU PURO!!
I have been absolutely impressed with my PuroGamers. The 85db volume-limit does not affect any normal gameplay but it does protect my ears from high volume spikes like explosions and screaming 12 year olds online. The PuroGamers also do a great job of blocking out ambient noise from my surroundings. When I wear my PuroGamers I feel completely immersed in the gaming experience and am not distracted by the loud background noise from roommates. My previous gaming headsets (all cost over $100) have not blocked the background noise as well and have caused concentration issues while gaming. This is absolutely the best headset for blocking out background noise that isn’t a true “noise cancelling” headset which costs upwards of $300. Also, while playing, I have had multiple friends comment on the clarity of the microphone. Even in my loud home environment I haven’t had any complaints from my friends saying that the background noise in my apartment is too loud. This is a complete 180 degree flip from previously always having to mute my mic so that my friends online don’t get frustrated with my background noise. The sound quality of the PuroGamers is astonishingly crystal clear and allows me to pin point enemy players locations and turn on them before they get a chance to take me by surprise. From my experience, the PuroGamer has outperformed my past headphones in sound quality, microphone clarity, and comfort. One of the best and most underrated features about these headphones, however, is how comfortable they are to wear! When the new Call of Duty came out last week I spent 8 hours straight gaming with my friends and didn’t have the slightest bit of discomfort throughout the entire gaming session! This is something truly unheard of for me in the past. No matter what headset I used before I would always get headaches around the 5 hour mark, but with the PuroGamers I had no problems even 8 hours into my gaming session! This headset has gone above and beyond all my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, not to mention they’re only $80. This is an absolute steal! On top of it all I have the added comfort of knowing that I am not doing any permanent damage to my hearing. Well done Puro!

This headset it’s the bee’s knees, ya feel?
Bruh, I don’t even know where to begin with these bad boys. Who is dr Dre even? These headsets are better than anything I’ve ever used. They are loud enough to hear everyone on call of duty call me a noob. But the noise canceling inside the headset really set these headsets apart from everyone. It doesn’t hurt my ears when little kids scream in their mic’s That they are in the middle of a match because their moms are telling them the spaghetti is ready. They feel so nice on my head that I feel like Jesus is caressing my head while I game it up. If you’re thinking about buying a headset, these are the ones to get. And the best part of all is they have the best customer care. I called in just to tell these guys how great their product was. They were really appreciative. If Jesus were to play COD he would definitely pick up a Puro headset.

Everything is great, but 1 flaw kills it
Everything they advertise about these headphones is true - they're comfortable and sound great. However, the fatal flaw is the bulky control unit. The Control Unit works, but it is difficult to work with. The worst part about this is the incessant clicking that other users hear whenever I use the USB control. I've resorted to using a paper clip to contort the cord so that it stops clicking. However, this works 50% of the time. Otherwise, the control unit can be (relatively) heavy on the cord and be annoying at times, but I could live with that... if the people I played with didn't think I was being pursued by a helicopter because of the loud clicking. -_-I would love to give these headphones more stars since it's great otherwise, but this fatal flaw kills most of the joy I have with it. I'm looking to replace it after only a few months.

Good headset, just not for gaming
Not a bad headset, but not great in fact I just bought a new one for less than half the price and it is much louder and doesn't sound muffled for gaming.I now use this headset for meetings / chats or maybe on the phone instead of a hands free. I've only played Madden and COD on an Xbox with this maybe other games will sound better but I found myself maxed out on the volume knob and still needing more, even with all the audio settings to 100.This headset is definitely soft and very comfortable to wear for periods of time also, mic is very flexible and easy to adjust.

Good product, excellent customer service, but checked track record.
This product was performing very well until one day it stopped working. We had problems with a defective set, but Puro's customer service proved to be excellent. Breanna's response was very professional and fast. We're looking forward to a long lasting product of high quality. Will keep you posted on how things evolve.

Good at 1st but....
Volume limiter was good and the reason we purchased 2no. of these for the kids.At first they worked OK but even from the start they quite often had connection problems over USB (typically microphone stopped working even though the physical switches hadn't been touched (note the physical build quality of the switch box is not great). After about 2 weeks one pair is having to be returned - one earpiece is not working (seems to be a connection problem in the physical switch as it can work if the wire is wiggled.Given the number of poor reviews I suspect quality control is not brilliant. Shame as they seem to be the only volume limited gaming headphones available

Good product, great customer service!
So, I bought a pair for my son to use on the PlayStation - these seem to be the only sound limited headphones on the market, which is a huge surprise. They look smart, are lightweight and comfortable. He does look after them so, hopefully will be durable, too.About three months after purchase the 3.5mm jack became unreliable then failed completely. Tested in phones, laptops etc and the USB and mic worked but not the jack. I'm still giving 5 stars because the product is awesome and customer service, when needed, was painless (we've all experienced when it's anything but!) by email.I'll buy again for my daughter soon, and the PuroPro are on my wishlist already...

Perfect for safe volume gaming
Bought these for our 14 year old. These are the only gaming headphones I have found with volume limiting. I wish all gaming headphones had this feature. He also uses them with his android phone

Good product, great service
Purchased two of these headsets last October, for use with Nintendo Switch and Windows based laptop/PC. Headphones are very comfortable, good sound response and the sound limiter works well. One of the headphones did develop a fault a couple of weeks ago, I got in touch with Puro, a replacement arrived with me just three days later, so great service to back it up as well.

great idea, bad design
such a shame, as at first these worked brilliantly. very comfortable, and the volume limiting feature is ideal for children. But after a few months of use the in built usb cable, which is evidently very flimsy, just stopped working, and they had to be returned. looking back over the reviews, seems like this is not an uncommon experience.
