Overall, very happy with how this book turned out.
This is a great guidebook for anyone who is interested in learning some of the more advanced skills of programming with Javascript, or those who have read the author's previous two books in this series and wats to learn more. This book will help take you through everything you need to know in order to gain the ability to use these more advanced techniques. There are really helpful diagrams and examples included and even exercises to get you working through the information and guidance. I myself am still relatively inexperienced at programming and testing with Javascript but this book and the others previously released have been an excellent help. I am able to refer back to any section that I need to be more clear on and everything is well organized and easy to access. Overall, very happy with how this book turned out.

Highly recommended to any self-taught programmer!
Me and my nephew are extremely satisfied with Nathan Clark's guides. I highly recommend them to any self-taught programmer. This book lives up to the standard set by the previous ones and provides clear explanations and concrete examples which will further develop your JavaScript programming skills.

Excellent Guide
THe authors of this series provide a great introduction to the various languages they write about. I have used several of them and will continue to do so.

A good Javascript guide.
This is a guide to the more complex uses of Javascript. This book gives many examples of using Javascript with the DOC (Document Object Model) I recommend this highly.

This is a great teaching manual like so many of Nathan Clark’s other books. If you’re learning Java make sure you have it by your side.

I brought this book for advanced JavaScript features. But ...
I brought this book for advanced JavaScript features. But the book title is little misleading. It is a 122 page , double lined, bigger than normal font book that covers a lot topics...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS BOOK.
Apologies for the capitals but I cant emphasize the point enough. I was looking for a book / set of books which could provide me with a good grounding in Javascript and fill in some of the gaps. I have some experience and understanding of some other programming languages. I didn’t have any time to do any research, so picked this one (and the other two in the series) somewhat randomly from an Amazon search. I bought and downloaded the kindle versions. What a mistake. The books lack any real substance. They has been padded out with example code, large chunks of which don’t change from example to example. They are supposed to showcase the topic at hand, but in many cases represent the bare minimum and don't highlight nuiances and interesting features. Compared to the first two books in the series, this one contained more topics that were of interest to me, however, the discussion and explanation was so superficial that it was a waste of time. As noted in my review of the other two books in the series, in life, the majority of times you get what you pay for. The kindle version was cheap, but it wasn’t even worth that and it was a complete waste of time. Literally the worst set of computer programming books that I have purchased and read.
