SANTREST Travel Luggage Strap Adjustable Suitcase Packing Belt with TSA Combination Lock

The luggage belt arrived properly packaged and per anticipated delivery schedule, and appeared substantial enough for intended use (easy luggage identification at airport carousels). Unfortunately, the clasp would not open at the initial factory preset of 000, and as a result the combination could not be reset to my desired preference. I attempted to open the clasp using numerous other combinations around 000 without success. I am assuming that the problem was the result of a manufacturing defect or production error in establishing the preset. If you do purchase this item (or anything similar), my recommendation is to test it immediately. My trip was several weeks after the purchase and I did not discover the problem until after the 30 day Amazon return window had expired. My experience warrants a zero star rating.

Absolutely useless..I was in hurry to purchase a TSA strap so that I don’t have to lock my combination suitcase. This has a loosening mechanism which does not lock down when the combination is set on the strap! Anyone can loosen the strap and open the suitcase. Why is this even being sold? There is no security for the luggage. Waste of sooo much money cause I had to use it for travel overseas and ended up having to buy TSA locks and drive them through the strap to ensure no one can open.

They lock well but fold and buckle in some not very useful ways. I continue to use these occasionally but will seek better alternatives. I don't think the canvas webbing they use is up to the task. Also, it appears that you can loosen these when they are locked, which undercuts the point of using them quite a bit

These help with the piece of mine that they will hold. Used them from Jacksonson Florida to Okinawa Japan.No problems Product works perfectly. And seems really strong.

Worked great. My bag zipper split about 4” the last day in Europe and these were a life saver. Along with having the extra security measure which was super nice, it was a great support. I will say though that it is a huge pain in the butt to adjust it every time to switch to a new hotel/city because it needs to fit perfectly to be effective and/or work. That’s the only downfall.

Received 2 of these straps, put both on my luggage and when I got to my destination one snapped off, they were on secured and locked, nothing was missing from my luggage only the strap came off, wish the company would send me another one, but we will see

Love this strap. So much better than using a lock. Also like the bright color.

The product looks and works exactly as advertised. Easy to use. My luggage is easily identified on luggage carousel at the airport. No more waiting to find my black suitcase.

I’ve had more “secure” straps but anyone with a Stanley Knife can make light work of travel straps.We wanted them more for more additional security when our cases are being chucked around on Airline Flights and they work well having used them recently to Singapore, Australia and Tenerife!!

Unfortunately on my fifth flight using this strap, my bag arrived on the carousel with the strap hanging off loose and one of the plastic buckle pieces missing and presumably smashed off in transit. Really hard to recommend a product that only lasted 4 flights before breaking.

This is a well made luggage strap, also it is ideal for large suitcases as it is 200cm long. Now I should be able to identify my black suitcase from all the others on the luggage belt.

Easy to use however only lasted one month

Very pleased with the luggage straps just what we needed makes the luggage more secure , no worrying about loosing keys with the combinationlocks .
