This stuff is amazing. My husband has shoulder length, full hair and it gets in his face with every other product. He works construction and has to wear a hardhat and usually an hour into his shift his hair is bothering him. After I bought him Zeus pomade it is no longer a problem. He uses a small amount on his wet hair and it drys and doesn't move all day with a hardhat which is just amazing. He was so skeptical to try a new product, especially one that sounded like a yuppy product "pomade" did not sound like what a tough bearded long hair construction worker wears. Now he believes Real Men Wear Pomade.I have even used it on my 4th and 5th grade boys hard to take cowlicks and it actually holds until they wash it out.

I got it mostly because the reviews mentioned a very light lemon/citrus smell, and good hold but the smell it’s really more like an old smell, I like that it holds really good but that weird smell just does not do it for me. But over all it does the job. I’m just really hoping it’s a bad batch and the next one it’s like the reviews described it!

... it just didn't work for me. First, the good. Pleasant smell. Price is right and a large tin. It has a lot of ingredients that are good for your hair and few that are not. It has a fairly firm hold but just not enough for me. I've got strange, thick, wavy hair. This leaves it 'soft' with a nice shine, not too much, but just not enough 'hold' for me.

It say's it's for men but, as a 60 yr old woman, I LOVE Zeus. No alcohol in this product. Holds my very fine hair all day and makes it look shiny and healthy. It is not sticky and you barely have to wash it off your hands after putting it in your hair. I brought it to my hairdresser and she is now buying it for her salon. Smells clean!!

Love the smell of this product. Wish it had a bit more hold but for shorter hair it works ok.

Great product, but tough to get used to. The hold is great once dry, but very weak while still wet, when styling. It is difficult to keep hair in place long enough for it to dry. In general, it seems great, but only for hair styles that don't diverge much from where the hair wants to go on its own.

Great pomade at a reasonable price. Has strong hold for a pomade. Nice shine. Scent is fresh but not overpowering.

Bought the product for my son. He does not like it. On the positive, it holds well, but if fixes more more like a gel. A bit crunchy in texture. Also, low shine. My son was hoping for something with a good smell and high shine without a crunchy texture. The smell of this pomade is so faint it is almost non-existent. Could be a positive, if that is what you're looking for.

The ZEUS hair Pomade comes in a large round metal tin. When you open it the pomade looks transparent like ice. What I like about it is how easy it is to work with it. Unlike make other pomades, its not stiff and only slightly sticky. It's very simple to pinch off a little amount and work it into my palms very briefly than style hair with it in any way I like.It's very easy to style hair this this product. It works very well and holds firm throughout the day with no other applications needed. My hair becomes more soft and manageable thanks to this product. Other pomades are often too sticky and stiff and take too long to work it into anything usable. If I don't take enough time they will make my hair look stiff and sticky. This pomade avoids all these issues. It can easily be used on hair that is being blown dry and that's the way I typically use it. Another thing I love about it is the natural, high-quality ingredients, such as jojoba, castor oil and keratin protein. However, I'm not so keen on the silicone, fragrance, and methylisothiazolinone. in this formula. I think they should avoid these ingredients, especially the last one. Also, the smell of the pomade is okay, nothing too irritating or great. Still, overall, this is the best styling hair product I have found to date, given how easy it is to work with and how well it holds my style.

I finally found a product that will replace my extra hold gel.I have short thick hair and usually style them somewhat messy/upwards and have always needed a strong gel to keep the style going all day.The Zeus Firm hold pomade is exactly what I needed. A firm hold, that looks more natural than gel.I used it when I went salsa dancing and it held throughout the workshop and social. The packaging says that it's water based so moistening your hair later on in the day can restyle your hair again.It has an interesting scent when first applied, which eventually start smelling like the lime it says.I make sure my hands are slightly moist, and my hair as well (just lightly), spread the pomade in my hands really well and then spread it all over my hair. If you spread it well in your palm you can get an pretty even spread on your hair. The pomade is very thick, so you have to dig into it, but I'm sold on this product. I love it.

This is an excellent hair product if you want to add some body to your hair without the wet look associated with hair gel. The tin itself is a good size with an ample supply of product, and you only need to use a very small amount to get good results. The subtle lime scent is also quite pleasant and not overpowering. I've used other hair wax/pomade products before and this is one of the better ones.

I really like this pomade. I have tried a lot of different hair products and this one is definitely one of my favourites. It doesn’t have an overpowering smell like other products I’ve tried, and it’s very easy to work with in terms of styling.It adds just the right amount of shine - it doesn’t make your hair look too greasy or shiny.It doesn’t have a scent per se, and it’s completely clear which I thought is really neat. I’m a huge fan of this product and will definitely be getting more when I run out!
