The SS blade is a big plus.Other than that, it is simply a machete.Nothing stands out in using it for me.

Good value for the money
Very nicely built and has a good sturdy handle. Also came sharpened with a decent edge. I anticipate this will serve me well for years to come both in the garden as well as on camping trips.EDIT >>> When I bought mine it was under $20
