Natural Effective Approach And Substitute For A Prescription Med...
I decided to start taking a diuretic recently to supplement my natural blood pressure maintenance. Years ago I was on prescription meds but got sick of all the doctors and insurance companies BS. I've now been off prescription meds for over 5 years. I never really was interested in a diuretic before because for a while my doctor had me on one that had me going so often it was interfering with my work and social life. Now I work from home and decided to take on this natural approach to ridding my body of excess water and purchased this after researching dandelion root and seeing the good reviews for it on here. My experience with it so far has been that is works, but far more gently than a prescription diuretic. Anyone that is expecting performance like a doctor will provide you with will be disappointed. But that doesn't mean it doesn't work, nor that it can be a far better choice for you than a script. Besides not having to be tied to making your doctor richer, not everyone needs the total draining power that a script provides. This gets rid of the water in your system quickly and regularly, but without the constant need to never stray too far away from the bathroom. I've tried others and this is so far the most effective one I have been able to find. I'm a big believer now in a dandelion root based diuretics and I suggest and recommend it to anyone considering a natural approach to ridding yourself of excess water...

Not as effective as HTZ (Hydrochlorothiazide) for diuretics. We'll see after a month or so if my BP returns to normal as the HTZ did for only a week.

Dangerous supplement for people with high blood pressure
Do NOT take this product if you presently are taking the prescription drug NIFedipine(Nifedical) or any prescribed Calcium Channel Blocker. This supplement contains magnesium which will react with your Calcium Channel Blocker prescription and cause a dangerously low pulse. If you are on blood pressure medication and need a SAFE natural diuretic, drink cranberry juice or eat watermelon and avoid any supplement containing magnesium.

This works for me
This works for me but my naturopath has me taking 3 two times daily and you can only buy one bottle at a time. I don't trust autoship. Wish there was not a limit,

it works but not in tiny doses
I am allergic to Rx diuretics. All of which share a similar common chemical formula. I know people have eaten dandelion leaf (not roots) for thousands of yeas with no side effects, so it is safe. One capsule contains less than a teaspoon of non dried leaf so you have to take several capsules , not one or two ,if you expect any diuretic effect. Is this as good as HCTZ? No, but it is better than nothing. It cut my lower leg edema (related mainly to a side effect of the hypertension RX amlodapine) about in half. Be patient it may take 2 or 3 days to notice any effect.Too bad it is so expensive. You can make dandelion tea from bulk leaves, taste is not too bad, but I do not know if heat may alter diuretic effect or quality of East European grown product

Effective, natural diuretic
I find this as effective as a low dose prescription diuretic. I take it twice every day, and the edema in my legs has gone.

felt like it really caused me to retain more than release
Did not feel these really helped, felt like it really caused me to retain more than release. I will keep taking them, maybe something will change.
