UURig DH13 Sling Dual Handle Grip for DJI Ronin S/Ronin SC, 2 Cold Shoe Extension Video Shooting Handle

I bought this UURig DH12 for my Ronin SC Gimbal. It is a well machined piece of aluminium,I it s supplied in two parts. The haNile and a mounting plate that fixes by Allen bolts to right sided accessory port of the Ronin SC. Once the plate is secured then two 3/8ths Allen bolts secure the handle grip to the plate and there is a machined lip that aligns the two components. Once assembled It’s very sturdy, and it also feels very secure once bolted in place. It’s mounting plate is moulded to fit the contours of the SC and also provides additional accessory mounting points on the top surface of the mounting plate and also by the provision of 1/4 and 3/8ths screw threaded mounting holes in a number of positions along the handle grip. I have mounted my 5 inch field monitor on the cold shoe at the end of the handle grip. This means it is at eye level, but I will also be able to mount the monitor or my external microphone wherever it suits using the additional screw threaded holes in the handle. It’s a good solid piece of kit to provide you with a means of distributing weight and allows your second hand to steady the Gimbal and damp any side to side rolling . Yet to use it in any significant test, but ergonomically it is well balanced and comfortable. It will be great for allowing low level shooting. ( updated 2.10.19 used in an Alpine greenhouse at RHS Harlow Carr yesterday. Lovely ‘flying’ footage achieved handle superbly balanced the Gimbal and allowed smooth movement across a bed of flowering plants. I am glad I chose it, and probably glad that I did so over the native Ronin SC handle grip which is one that clamps around the top of the battery housing by a split locking clamp. The UURig just isn’t going to move, because of its secure fixings, where I think the Ronin Grip Handle might not be as secure as the UURig DH12.

Bought for Ronin Sc works a charm better than the actual Ronin arm. Nice to be able to use the SC in briefcase mode, makes for better smoother shots.
