A Mathematical Introduction to Compressive Sensing (Applied and Numerical Harmonic Analysis)
U**L
An Excellent Book
Usually the common perception is that mathematically rigorous and technically comprehensive books are not preferred by begining students due to their highly focussed treatment which robs a reader of the bird's eye view of the subject which is also very important.Having gone through this book, I am of the opinion that this book certainly resists (successfully) all such perceptions. It is complete while holding a good grip over its readability.1. Mathematically very rigorous while presenting all the necessary details and fundamentals.2. Apart from mathematics, intuitive arguments are also given a suitable place.3. Good collection of excercise problems which gives an interested student with opportunities to grapple with the concepts of this subject.4. Simple language while being complete at the same time.5. Very nice printing and binding.I would whole-heartedly recommend this book to any person who is interested in understanding the area of Compressive Sensing from absolute fundamentals without compromising with its mathematical completeness.
