Venom by Rick Remender: The Complete Collection Vol. 2 (Venom (2011-2013))

This collection wraps up the Rick reminder run on venom. It's a shame, because this is a really good run. If there is one takeaway from this series, it is that flash is a hero because he struggles against his addictions and vices, and doesn't wallow in them. Flash is also an addict and wAtching him destroy all the good things in his life to chase his addiction to venom was a really interesting, if frustrating, journey. Also, this version of Jack o lantern is a monster and he's so much fun.This collection also includes the circle of four story, which is a series of point one issues bookended by regular venom issues. It'd a decent enough story, but not really noteworthy on its own. Some of the art is really nice though.

Venom by Rick Remender: The Complete Collection Volume 2Hell on Earth, featuring Red Hulk, Ghost Rider, and whatever the heck that Lady Wolverine is called. Something I thought would be totally s***ty and boring was actually a really good and captivating story. And then the next half of the book is Venom finishing what he started with Crime Master and Jack O'Lantern in volume one.Art is on point. And story moves quickly and feels like a Remender book. Nothign confusing, nothing outrageous, just fun dialogue and powerful action with a great emotional back story as fuel. Can't ask for anything better.

It's a bit better than book 1, yet still not great.The constant switch of artists is jarring.The story has redeeming moments interlaced with dull filler.If you want great Remender, read Black Science, Tokyo Ghost, X-Force, and Fear Agent.

Such a good book, I wish Remender was still writing for Marvel

Okay. Got a little crazy with the new characters and story but still pretty cool. First volume is best

This TPB is the Venom (2011) run with issues 13, 13.1 - 13.4 and 14-22. The art is fantastic and the stories are absurdly fun.

I'm a huge fan of the Agent Venom concept.
