Juiceboxx - Macbook Charger Cable Protector (Blue 85W)

I wish I had had this before the ears on my power supply broke. With the Juiceboxx Charger Cable Protector, even though the ears are broken, they are stable and the cord is easier to wrap up. Love it!

A big thumb's up for Juiceboxx's customer service. I ordered a 60w juiceboxx and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fit my charger. It turned out I had an 85w charger. Duh. A customer service rep helped me figure out the problem and, despite the fact that the mistake was my own, immediately sent me the correct sized juiceboxx free of charge (and asked me to simply donate the 60w one to someone who could use it). It's a perfect fit and I look forward to being able to carry my charger around without it fraying! I will pass along the 60w charger and the good karma.

I'm not totally sold on this product.First of all Juiceboxx sent me the wrong product. I emailed them and at first got no reply, it was only when I advised that I would be reversing credit card charges a week later that they replied within six hours. I eventually got the correct item.There are no instructions in the box, so I can understand why some reviewers don't seem to be installing their Juiceboxx correctly. The Juiceboxx comes assembled out of the box so I had to figure out on my own how to separate the two halves without causing any damage. Would it kill them to include some instructions?I installed the Juiceboxx, gingerly clipping the two halves back in place and one of the clips at the top cracked. This has really annoyed me, if you design a product that is totally reliant on these clips operating correctly then make sure they are manufactured to an adequate strength. As another reviewer has noted it does not fit perfectly snug and tends to creak when picked up.I don't know at this stage if the Juiceboxx is going to last long term and if it will protect the cord as advertised. It would be good to hear from other people that have already used it for a long time.

Juiceboxx for me is a preventative maintenance solution and a way to turn heads in the coffee shop. Typically, a product like this wouldn't find it's way into my life but now that it has, I can't imagine living without it. So yes, it saves your cord from fraying. But for me it solved another problem that I doubt the creators had ever intended it for... One of my charging prong things that you use to roll up the cord had snapped off about 1 week into my Macbook Pro Retina purchase. THIS SUCKED. But shortly after that drama, I had this Juiceboxx and it provided a way to now rollup my cord when done using it for the day.So I would have to say I love this product. Did I mention it's well made? Anyhow... The only thing I wish it fixed now was the opposite end of the charging cord. That part is starting to fray for me. But then again, at this point its probably more of an Apple problem to deal with.Recommendation... BUY it and look cool while you save money on silly chargers.

I've gone through about 2 chargers in the past year, and this does a great job protecting it. Not only is it extremely sturdy/durable, but the sleek design looks great with my MacBook. Would highly recommend this purchase!
