Pellia 8 oz cup portion The Asian Monosolenium tenerum is an attractive liverwort, 2-5 cm high, which looks most like a giant Riccia that simply stays at the bottom, where it forms cushions. It is a brittle plant, and pieces break off easily, so it is best to place it in the aquarium attached to stones with fishing line or in small clumps among other plants such as Eleocharis. Once Monosolenium has established itself, it is very Hardy. A hairnet is useful when planting as you can wrap it around a rock or driftwood or even anchor it to the floor using rocks to hold it down. The hairnet keeps this plant from floating around and it will soon grow through the hairnet and not be seen.

Very clean and healthy! Remarkable!
Microscopically could not find any microbes at 100x. There are probably some bacteria but I did not see any. Cleanest plant I have ever seen. What else does this guy sell?

Good and very bad at the same time
On a positive note, the portion is huge and it looks very healthy. I’m not so sure it’s worth $50 however it’s been impossible to find locally so what is one to do....The bad thing is that it’s covered with snails and I also found a few visible Planeria. I haven’t been able to add it to any of my tanks yet until I figure out what to do with the critters.Overall I would say it’s healthy, a bit spendy, and filled with pests. So take your chances and be careful.

no roots!
Pretty cool stuff. It moved around the tank until it found its happy place then settled in and started to grow. The fish love hiding in it.

A Beautiful Plant!
I was originally going to buy two smaller bags of java moss, but decided to buy this plant. I was worried at first because of how much it cost, but this plant is amazing! My shrimp immediately went to is and it's already starting to spread. I'll definitely buy more whenever it's available again!

This is a beautiful aquarium plant! A little goes a long ways. Enough to make several floating balls and left over to put some in the bottom of my fry nursery which they love to hide in. Received product quickly. Very pleased with product and delivery. I highly recommend.

Generous amount
I expected a golf ball sized cutting of Subwassertang. What I received was huge! At least eight times that amount. Plant arrived healthy and green and is thriving in my tank.
