They are plastic so the rails are easy to modify. Sockets fit snug but not to snug. Nice quality.

2 of the 1/4” pcs. on the 1/4” rail do not go into my sockets to hold the socket on the rail
I cannot get 2 of my 1/4” sockets to go on the 1/4” pieces on the rail. Is this the reason for the 6 additional pieces? Of course, it would be for the 1/4” rail that I ordered this product. I reported this defect to Amazon and they are contacting the manufacturer for resolution. I didn’t want to go through all the time & expense to repack & return the product. Just want the manufacturer to mail me half a dozen of these 1/4” very light plastic pieces, please! FYI. With this product you should know that your sockets are going to move around, back & forth when installed on the rails. Not very sturdy. Flimsy. However, at this point anyway my sockets seem to stay on the rails. They should be just fine for me as I store my sockets in a drawer in my double, roll around, upright toolbox. But, there are holes on both ends of each of the rails probably for hanging them on a hook on a pegboard. I wouldn’t take that route though as I think your sockets may come off of the rails and fall on the floor.

Very durable and light weight.
I am extremely please to add this to my tool selection. As a professional mechanic, I appreciate light weight and useful tools such as these socket rails. They are very functional and can help reduce the weight of my rolling tool cabinet.

Makes organizing easy
Got these to store my sockets in a tool roll. So far they've held up. When they first arrived a few of the plastic pieces were hard to slide around and it looked like there was some sort of lubricant on the rails to help them slide a bit. Not a bad idea to maintain them further on down the road. Even though they're plastic, these rails are super sturdy. I haven't had anything just fall off, even when rolling around my bag.

Great for organizing the tool box!
Very easy to use to organize sockets with this storage rail set. This is my second purchase, since I was so happy with the first!
