Sound AddictedFoam Cover Windscreen for Blue Yeti Microphones | Ideal for Podcasting & Professional Recordings

My cat decided to mangle my mic cover while I was out of town for a couple weeks. There was no saving it. Fortunately this replacement cover fits and works great.

I really like these windscreens for my microphones. They fit perfectly on round or square studio condenser microphones. Nowadays when many different singers that chew gum, possibly smoke, or even have colds and some such....I like to change the windscreen covers on the mics very frequently. The human mouth...especially when singers are belting out vocals take after take can make even the most fastidious clean mic into an unsanitary one just from normal use. They need to be changed to keep everyone happy and to prevent unsavory conditions. No help for it...it's just the way of things. We're just human beings, all of us, and it just comes with the territory. I think overall that these windscreens are just as good or better than any others I've used as a studio engineer. In fact I'll be buying more of them because the price is very good and they do the job really well. A big thumbs up for the people over at Sound Addicted! It's a smaller business that has more of the personal touch than a large corporation has. I know this from personal experience. If you're in the market,want something that will protect precious condenser microphone diaphragms, and don't want to break the bank...Give these covers a try. I think you'll be happy with them.

I have my mic next to the PC, the fans will going sound like a jet engine. This thing won't hear a jet engine.

The media could not be loaded. It’s quality is good covering most of the mic but could have been little longer to look nice. Cost is bit higher but it’s okay for the quality. Seems durable material but I can’t say unless used long term. I will post again if any observations after using for some time.Edit: initially it was not covering full mic part, but I pulled it tight and it fit properly to cover full mic. Initially I was hesitant to pull it tight to avoid breaking it, but after couple of weeks I tried and it fit well.

High quality foam, fits perfectly on Blue Yeti. Made also to work on other large diameter microphone body especially with front-addressing microphones (Yeti is side-addressing) as its tip has thicker foam for better plosive control. Btw, because of Yeti's thick body the windscreen will contour the roundly tapered dome shape.

This sound addicted foam cover fit my Yeti Pro like a glove. I use it every weekday for zoom meetings and teams meetings and just about any meeting software you can imagine gotomeeting, Cisco WebEx, bluejeans, anymeeting waiting for animal video conferencing any day now. Anyway, this cover really helps with my calls as everyone says they can hear me crisp and clear and also no crackling or harsh P's, B's or S's or anything of that nature. Overall it does what I need it to do and it says it does. When it did come I did leave the cover out for a couple of days before putting it on my Yeti. When I did put it on my yeti pro, it fit like a glove and I think it makes the mic look and sound better so was with the purchase.
