First Aid Cream, 7 Ounce

Years ago, I got this as a sample when I ordered another product and am so very glad that I did. I had a heat rash on my back. Finally went to a dermatologist that said that due to the type of rash it was, it was better to just put up with it (being on my back only, it didn't show, and I only had it during summer months when very hot) as it was so difficult to treat that the "cure" was worse than the symptoms. Very hard on the body.Since I had this anyway, I decided to give it a try and the rash disappeared and has never returned. That was about 10 years ago!Now I use it for any bug bite that may itch (I'm outdoors a lot). No more rashes. But now my dog is uber itchy. So I took some and rubbed it into her skin (not on top her coat), and made sure she didn't lick the area for about a half hour to make sure it was absorbed and she stopped itching! I have recommended this to several other friends for their dogs and it helped theirs too. I realize it is not a pet product per se, and I wouldn't want my dog to eat a big blob of it, but if monitored, and rubbed into the skin, it does wonders.Can't recommend it enough.

This is probably the best creme for wounds that I've been using for years. I really like it and a little goes a long way. Plus, I like that it doesn't have a distinctive, foul smell and it doesn't burn when applied. I would recommend not getting too large a bottle/ container such as this as it does turn brown the older it gets, and it may loose potency, so get the smaller tubes if you won't need it often. Recommended for wound care (early care to prevent, or stop from worsening, e.g. not major sores/pressure points-see a doctor) for people with disabilities too.

This cream is really good on very dry skin. It is pretty thick, but absorbs easily. The problem is with the tube itself. It is very stiff, and difficult to squeeze the cream out. I have had to waste half the tube almost every time. I even tried using both hands and really squeezing as hard as I could. Nothing worked. I really like this cream, but I don't buy it anymore because it is so difficult. I have never seen a tube of anything that is so stiff and unyielding.

A must have for any skin issues. Goodbye neosporine, you have been replaced with a product that works much better. I don't like the 7oz size though, it's challenging to squeeze it out of the container.

I had used the Rex Eme CREAM to relieve a year-long bed sore and had tried prescription drugs with no relief. The Rex Eme CREAM relieved the pain, but the bed sore persisted. By mistake, I ordered the Rex Eme CREME in the blue tube and decided to use it. In a week the bed sore began to heal and in ten days it was completely gone. I'm glad I made such a great mistake. I heartily endorse this product. I don't know if it was supposed to work on the bed sore, but it did. It's a great product.

This is NOT A FIRST AID ITEM!! The only place anything is said about first aid is in the description. It is only an expensive lotion, nothing and not for first aid.

Seems to work well. Does not dry to a "greaseless" state on my hands as quickly as my now unavailable (except at rediculous horder prices) Carmex product.Slight medicinal odor disappears quickly.

Rex Eme was recommended to us in a drug store. The clerk said that several of their clients swore by it because it was so good. We tried it and found that it is the best thing for any skin condition. We always use it.
