DO NOT Buy this Motor
It was my mistake. I wanted to buy a cheap motor for our boat. BUT I didn’t think cheap would mean CHEAP! It worked great for the first few rides but parts started to break on it really easy. The choke cap compartment shattered when the poll string came back on it. Next, the steering rod snapped off with almost no force. Whatever metal was used to make this thing was so cheap that it busts extremely easily. Save your self the money and DO NOT buy.

Will not buy again
The amount is cheap and broke very easily the motor works good pushes my 12 foot aluminum boat no problem the only thing is the mount no one to call to replace no replacement found online Amazon does not have contact information for this motor

Alot stronger than I thought but a few manufacturing errors
The motor runs good and was easy to put together but the filter cover was broke the instructions are horrible the high and low are backwards 0 is on and I is off but as far as its function it pushes a 1000 pounds up stream about 6 mph
