Retear Case for Amazon Kindle Fire HD 10 Tablet (9th/7th/5th Generation, 2019/2017/2015 Release) Lightweight PU Leather Cove with Auto Wake/Sleep

This is just what I was looking for: a simple inexpensive case, exterior is sturdy fake leather, interior is plain with a suede-like feel. The exterior tab and the elastic interior/exterior strap allow the tablet to stand securely on a table to watch videos. What I like best is the interior hand strap that makes it easy to hold the tablet comfortably for reading. That is a feature that was lacking on many of the cases I looked at, and for me it is essential.

Lovely case. Fits perfectly and the feel of it is soft in the hand. I get so many compliments on this case. It has an inside hand strap so you can hold it one handed without the fear of dropping it. Such a great feature. It also has an elastic loop to put a stylus. The on off feature works well with the tablet also. A must buy.

I HATE this case. It’s beautiful, sturdy, and the handle on the inside is genius, but when you flip the cover back it puts the kindle to sleep! The handle on the inside is completely useless because as soon as the cover touches the back of the case it puts the kindle to sleep. It’s probably fine for someone who only watches tv on the kindle, but I read and it’s infuriating to try to read while this case turns it off every five seconds.

Case is perfect fit and serves it's purpose for protecting my Kindle Fire HD 10, and being able to stand for better viewing. Really like the auto sleep/wake feature. What I really love is the pattern!

I really wanted a Finte case, but I couldn't find one in mostly purple, except the solid purple one. I was hoping this pretty design, would make me happy! It looked like it had enoug purple in the design, to satisfy my need for all things purple. Sadly, it's mostly turquoise, teal and aqua. The pattern doesn't wrap around to the front, around the screen where I can enjoy it. They left that part black! Yuck!It's more well made than the "purple"paisley one I bought for my other Fire 10, which turned out to be more pink, than purple. At least that one has the design printed on the screen surround, even if it is a bit flimsey!Also, this case doesn't flatten out well to close it, where the fold for the stand is. That same fold is a bit lop-sided in the stand open position. I'm hoping the fold will straighten out after it's broken in, eventually.I use mostly landscape, so this type of case is best for me. I delete all Apps that only work in portrait. All of the ones that would accommodate both portrait and landscape do not have enough of a stand to keep tablets upoiright, propped up on my squishy pillow on my lap. I need to have it close to my eyes so I can read the closed captions through my cataracts, so this style works best for me. All the other styles are only good if you set your tablet on a flat, level surface.I think it will hold up very well and since shades of blue in teal and turquoise are my second favorite colors and go well with purple, I'm keeping it, but my next case WILL be a plain, solid color purple Finte! I've learned my lesson about cases!

I was taken in by the beautiful cover. I like the elastic in the back when the cover is open to slide my hand through to keep hold of it without straining my thumb. This cover is very well made and it is also an eye-catcher when I'm waiting in a waiting room and when in church.

Should have known buying the wife a FireHD 10 would mean an instant followup of screen protectors and covers. But she loves this one and it looks great, feels solid, and fits perfect:) Very impressed/pleased with the design.

Totally will not stand on its own. Base is too small.
