The #1 fabric at the time was Buckram, as the fashion and social mores of that era dictated that everyone, men and women, wore a hat. In addition to Buckram, Mosquito Netting was a Thompson specialty. In fact, Thompson Netting was provided to the Union Army in the Civil War!

Not a true Sultana Burlap
I work a lot with Burlap's, designing Christmas Tree Skirt's, and only choose Sultana., shown in pic. above...as it is tight weaved, high thread count,low odor, less fuzz. I ordered in a small batch of this brand that says it is a Sultana... not at all, resembles a craft/ hobby store burlap.. loose threads, awful chemical smell, was unable to use in my project.The Elegant Clutter on etsy

Bad cut takes 2” off the piece
The fabric is nice for runners, etc. It sheds when handling, but that is expected. The issue is that the cut is crooked which creates a piece that is not rectangular. Correcting the issue would make the cut 2” shorter, plus the hustle! And I need the whole piece. Ordered two cuts and they are both off. Have to return, but I then have to wait another 3 days to start on my project that has a due date. Wish there was a way to contact the seller to resolve this quickly...

Got this fabric to reupholster two chairs in my kitchen- fabric is as pictured and easy to use, so far (3 months-ish) the fabric is holding up beautifully.

Very good product, but may be a little pricey.
I used this material on some acoustic panels I built. The material looks great. It doesn't look cheap. Make sure that you use a sharp blade so that it will leave less strands laying around, other than that, great product.

This worked out great. I bought the yardage instead of buying a burlap table cloth. It was a lot cheaper and all I had to do was zig zag stitch the 2 ends. It's nice quality burlap too.

Good quality fabric
Used this to stitch on with my class. Cut in rectangles and used it. Worked perfectly. Good quality.
