Zinger Winger DX3000 Deluxe 3000 Aluminum Dog Crate

I purchased this Dog Crate for my 4 year old Vizsla. She weighs almost 50 lbs, and there is plenty of room for her in the crate. The crate is light weight, and very sturdy when assembled. The assembly was rather difficult with small nuts and many screws. Assembly required two people and I had to crawl into the crate to put the nuts on the screws and they were then tightened from outside with a screwdriver. I then gave them a little extra tightening from inside with a very small wrench. The crate door is a slam latch door and it works great! I really like the door because it closes securely and there isn't any chance my smart dog will be able to open it. It also comes with a keyed lock, so your dog could be secured if you were using this crate for airline travel. I didn't purchase the exterior handles, because I'm using the crate for transporting the dog in my vehicle. If I needed it for airline travel, I would purchase the exterior handles.

I'm not really sure what the other reviews on the product are talking about. As far as quality, this crate is fantastic! Our Weimareimer got out of every other crate we tried, but this one has been so sturdy that she doesn't even try to get out. It's been so good, because it's sound, she knows she's secure and doesn't test the lock or door. Assembly was relatively easy, although I made a mistake.As far as the price, I think the price was fair for the quality of the construction. I do think that if you order a product knowing the price and then have purchase regret, then you shouldn't rate the product one star.
