Chris Christensen Mark III Slicker Brush, Groom Like a Professional, Stainless Steel Pins, Lightweight Beech Wood Body, Ground and Polished Tips, Medium

This brush is AMAZING. I have a goldendoodle and was using the brush the breeder gave us (which was nice, but it is now far too tiny of a brush for such a large puppy). I bought a cheap slicker brush at a bigbox store when I forgot to bring a brush on a trip, but the pins were very sharp, it made noise (?!), and my dog seemed uncomfortable if it was used anywhere but her back.This brush is a game changer. It flows through her fur so much nicer and gentler than the cheap brush, it's a decent size and covers a lot of territory (unlike her baby brush), and it just looks nice and is easy to hold too. The arrangement of the pins (offset from the row above) works realy well at getting out little snarls and dirt and grime, and leaves the fur looking smooth, shiny, and soft. So far it's been a bit tricky to get all the hair out of the bristles, but I ordered the brush cleaner so hopefully that will help.I'm considering ordering another one in a different size, just because this one is so nice. We'll be sticking with these brushes from now on. The price is totally worth it.

I bought this one because for me 75$ was just a bit too much for someone who does not groom professionally. This brush is medium sized, but works great. I love that the tips of the pins are rounded so there is no accidentally pricking your or the dogs skin. Good quality and comfort. I would recommend.

I am absolutely thrilled with this slicker brush! I am owned by a wonderful Smooth Collie, who also happens to be rough factored... so he's a bit more "smoughy" than a pure-for-smooth Smoothie. ;-) I have purchased countless combs and brushes over the years to help keep his undercoat under control and his top coat looking smooth and shiny. All of those tools worked to a certain degree, but nothing, and I truly mean nothing, has helped me to remove loose undercoat like this brush. In a fraction of the time too! It does not pull on the topcoat and leaves him looking wonderfully smooth and fluffy-- almost as if he just had a bath. In addition, while he "tolerated" the other combs and brushes that I have used in the past, he seems to actually like the feel of this slicker. Bonus: the cats love it too! I'm actually thinking of getting a smaller slicker just for them. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best slicker brush I have used. It’s truly worth spending a little more for the quality. The bristles are soft enough that they don’t scratch yet sturdy enough they don’t bend out of shape. Coop tested and Mom approved!

Handle was loose when received. I should have returned but didn't. I have to be very careful when using it so it doesn'tcome apart, otherwise it is a very good brush. The wires comb easily though the dog's coat and do not seem as 'harsh' onthe coat or skin as those you can buy in pet stores....

BEST slicker ever! It is simply amazing! Even my double coated samoyed loves getting brushed with this slicker and he does not even like getting brushed. he actually seems to enjoy being brushed now because of this slicker. I was skeptical about this slicker and wasn't sure if I should splurge on it, but I am so glad that I did and I wish I would have bought it four years ago when my dog was just a puppy. I could have been using it for four years already had I known how great this was. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone!!! You will not be disappointed at all. High quality, works magic beyond belief. Worth every penny!!!!!!!

An excellent brush for Skip, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi!I have owned, raised, bred and shown dogs for nearly 30 years. My experience with grooming lies with Samoyeds and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. My mom has sworn by Christ Christensen brushes for decades and now I am following suit.This Mark III slicker is by far one of the best products CC has. The tines on the medium are the perfect length for getting down to the under coat of my Corgi without being painful, as some other brushes tend to be. Skip, who is 6 months old, will stand still to be groomed now. A monumental feat for a puppy! And I am able to remove all of his puppy fuzz thus assisting his puppy coat to blow out.I am extremely pleased with this product and will purchase again, if I ever wear this one out. My mom gave me one of her CC brushes when I first brought Skip home (but the tines were meant for Samoyeds and were not affective on Skip's coat, which is why I bought this brush).. nevertheless, the CC brush she loaned me is approaching 20 years old and still looks and functions as brand new. Some may consider this expensive for a dog brush, but you are paying for a lifetime of use (plus some) for your dog!

I have a standard poodle and this is the brush I use on his fur daily. It is quite comfortable to hold, but I have joint problems so I added some foam to the handle to build it up more so I can grasp it easier. It leaves his fur tangle free and he never complains so I know it is gentle on his skin. Using different brushes takes so much time and they just don't work as well. I even have other Chris Christensen brushes but this one is the best for my poodle.
