Designed for use in hot environments encountered by the modern soldier, this hat is equally at home in a tropical jungle environment as it is in the arid heat of the desert. The overall design is the same as a standard bush hat, having features such as a neck cord and loops around it to aid camouflage and concealment, however on this hat the brim is shortened from 3" to 2". This improves the field of vision of the wearer and is one of the reasons why this type of hat has been adopted by the special-forces. I added waterproof spray. Material not as thick. I use this instead of a hood, in bad weather. Ideal for this as I work at a security check point.
