National Allergy Hypoallergenic 100% Waterproof Mattress Protector

I bought my girls twin mattresses and since they were a gift from their grandparents, I got them decent Sealy mattresses since they'd be sleeping on them for at least 15 years. Although neither of my girls are bed-wetters I decided to play it safe and buy mattress protectors. After doing some research I chose the BedGuard mattress protector because it is both waterproof and absorbent (it is vinyl with a terry top layer). Last night my daughter woke up crying, I went in to have found she had soaked her bed as well as sheets and blanket, having an accident. I pulled the bedding off and discovered that the Waterproof mattress pad had done its job. Even with everything soaked, the mattress is perfectly new. I am thrilled to have made the right choice.I have thick mattresses and the mattress protector fits perfectly and does not make noise when you lay on it.Update 1/12/2017:I have bought an extra set of these mattress protectors in case of middle of the night accidents. My daughter woke up from having thrown up all over herself. I pulled the sheet protector and sheets and the mattress was clean and dry. I threw everything in the laundry and remade her bed with the spare mattress protector and extra sheets and she was back to bed in no time.

We have been using the King Size Bed Care Ultimate Hypoallergenic and Waterproof Mattress Protector for about a year and a half now. It fits our mattress perfectly and has held up really well to babies, toddlers, and cats testing it's protective capabilities on a semi-regular basis. I would not hesitate to purchase another or to recommend this to someone else. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Since it does not fully enclose the mattress, people with worse allergies may not find this to be as effective as those which completely encapsulate the mattress. However, it works fine for us. We do use zippered allergen-protective cases on our pillows, though.

such a dizzying array of options in mattress covers. went with this one b/c most of its complaints have to do w/ depth of mattress, which wasn't such a concern for me. (i have sheet suspenders, and a thick-ish mattress.)positive review for the following reasons:- thin (at Cal King size, bulky ones might not fit a small washing machine)- not hot/sweaty (temperate summer night usage so far)- not loud/crinkly. note that in the package, the fabric did seem to rustle -- but that's when the treated backing is rubbed against itself, basically. on the mattress, no rustle.- did not melt in dryer. i had it on permanent press, no problems.so far, so good.

I bought two so we could switch them out in case of night time accidents. My son sleep walks and sometimes he thinks he has already made it to the bathroom when he goes. I have washed them many times and haven't noticed any difference in them. I even dry them in the dryer, and they are still as good as new. They don't make any noise when you lay on the bed and they aren't crinkly and firm like plastic sheets.We got an older dog last year who has incontinence issues and it just occurred to me that I could wrap her bed up in one of these, then put the regular cover over it. She is a Newfoundland and her bed is huge, otherwise I would stick it in a waterproof pillow case. I am going to purchase a third one to use for our dog now. These things are life savers!

With a new mattress it is absolutely necessary to have this. Product is strong yet flexible. Very nice sort of a short fuzzy cotton side with a breathable liner underneath. It has worked perfectly. I love the fact that is wraps completely around the top and sides of the mattress with a very flexible mesh that keeps it tight. The protector lets the air breath between you and the mattress so you don't sweat. I found this one to be a great buy also. They can be very expensive and uncomfortable but this one is exactly what I needed. The mattress works great but needed protected and I didn't want this protection to compromise comfort and that is exactly what this does.

I bought this in November for our 4 year old and by February the corners fell apart and it had already leaked several times. I tried contacting the company, but the phone rang and rang and the message was never returned. Save your money.Update as of 2/17.Took some time, but finally spoke with someone at the company. They are sending out a new one today. I have updated my 1 star to 3 stars because of the customer service. Still sad this item fell apart and was not truly waterproof, but pleased with the customer service. Will update on the new one as it arrives.

I bought these to protect the new mattresses we purchased for our boys. One still wears bedtime diapers and when those leak, it goes past this mattress protector into the mattress. One is bedtime trained but just had an accident last night. Not only did it go through the protector, it saturated his mattress completely, as if the protector hadn't even been there. I would not recommend this to anyone.The company offers a lifetime warranty and they wouldn't help me at all. They insisted I deal through amazon, and amazon was fantastic. Thank you amazon.

I bought this because the price was unbeatable. It does make some noise on the bed and it doesn't let heat dissipate despite supposedly being breathable. It might be because of my memory foam mattress, but my old mattress pad still allowed more airflow.

This mattress protector is exactly what I'd hoped to receive. It is soft and completely unnoticeable so it doesn't detract from the memory foam mattress it's protecting. While it is waterproof, there is no crackling sound from it, or any sound at all - which is the worst issue to have with a mattress protector when someone's trying to sleep. It has generous pockets for thick mattresses, but has an elastic perimeter so it fits even thinner bunk mattresses. I'd recommend this mattress protector and will purchase it again if need arises.

I purchased the bed guard waterproof mattress cover based on the positive reviews. I wanted an affordable mattress cover for a queen sized bed that was WATERPROOF. The features I like about the item include: price, soft terry cover, no noise when sleeping on it and the easy washing instructionsI received it sooner than expected...within 3 days of ordering even though I choose the free shipping option. I opened the package and without washing it, I covered the mattress. Unfortunately, the waterproof mattress cover is not waterproof. The liquid when thru the cover to the mattress in one area. If you are looking specifically for a mattress cover that protects the mattress from liquid, then the bedguard is unable to do this. I have returned the item and I am considering purchasing a waterproof mattress pad.

This is a perfect fit for m Sealy temperpedic bed. It has been over a year and the fit and elasticity are still holding (unlike previous products I have used which get loose). It has guarded against my cat leaving a mess and other accidents that have occurred, this is definitely worth the investment.

Bought this a few years ago now. Highly recommend it. Only drawback is that you need to hang to dry or dry on fluff. Has held up well along with the same type of pillow cases.

This saved my mattress more than a couple of times from little spills (the spills were cleaned up quite fast, so I can't speak to the waterproof quality of the bedguard if liquid was left on it for a couple of hours). The corners are deep and were easy to fit over a thicker mattress. It's soft, easy to clean and set up. No complaints.

It was not. Thought it would be noisy (because of the waterproof material). It was not.It surpassed my expectations and would buy the exact same one if I ever need one again. Well worth the money.

Totally waterproof, comfy, fits our deep fitted mattress snug and perfectly. first layer is like towel quality that absorbs liquid then underneath is a plasticy material that won't let liquid go through.Washes well as long as you follow washing instructions.If you lie only on the protector you will feel warm/hot but put a regular bed sheet on top and you will be just fine.Very helpful to protect our mattress from strains. We have a toddler and a newborn. Believe me, we have a lot if spills and accidents on our bed.

Good price and a great product. Hasn't been tested with water but what I like about it is it doesn't feel like plastic nor does it have the crinkly sound of plastic. When you've spend alot for a bed, you want to protect it. This bed guard does the job.

Works well but if your kid is older bedwetter bigger size you may need to double up. My boy is 6 special needs and a giant of a boy who can pee a river. I use pullups and 3 covers.

Product works well but I find that I feel really hot sleeping on it in comparison to no protector. Guess that's no surprise considering that its waterproof....

Arrived in a timely matter. Fits the mattress very well. Bonus: it doesn't make a crinkling sound when you lie on the mattress.
