Great price, great length, sturdy, highly recommend
Really pleased with this, difficult to get a ladder this length and especially for this price (£109.00) have used it today to clean the guttering of my house so up and down lots as I moved around, very sturdy, would recommend to anybody

unsafe for climbing and unsafe for your fingers
I bought this as I needed a nice tall ladder to get on my roof and clean guttering. it had some good reviews so I bought it.I'm sorry but this is awful first of all it is bouncy in the middle and makes you feel unsafe. it is heavy but just not made for them hights. The buttons you press to lower the ladder there is no way of doing things slowly as soon as you press them it comes smashing down and just God hope your fingers are not in the way.I should have and woyld recommend just getting your standard fixed fram ladders. these things may be great up to about 3M but nothing more.yes it's a good price but it's too unsafe

The steps are wider apart than normal
If you are used to the normal rung spacing this wider gap takes getting use to and may be difficult for a short person. If you want a ladder that is easy to store for occasional use then this works well. The roof hooks seem to be the wrong shape and the ladder is rather heavy for use as a roof ladder. Also if not used fully extended then the 'surplus'rungs make an even bigger step.So long as you are aware of these limitations then the ladder is good value for money.

Fingers............6.2 metre model
This design is crying out for super lightweight carbon nanotubes.my initial feeling is ........how many people have lost fingers as these 16 kilos coming crashing down with much force, other makes have rubber stoppers , and i have fitted thick foam rubber on mine.Take greeeeaaaat care............

It’s good, and you don’t need a roof rack
Received this one day early. The ladder was as described and seams to be of good quality. I have had a shorter one (3.8m) for many years which is much lighter and was very expensive but too small for some jobs, but this seems very sturdy and did not flex much when I tested it. I weigh 100 kg and am 76. I used it straight away to do some jobs some of which required its full extension and others not. I found that when not fully extended it was better to have the unextended rungs at the top as this made the ladder easier to put up, and avoided a big step at the bottom, but be careful when lowering as it comes down quickly. I used a rubber door wedge side ways to prevent jammed fingers. Very useful to have a 6m ladder that will fit into the car boot. I am very pleased and would recommend it as it has already paid for itself.

Not sure
I decided to buy a folding ladder and wanted one that extends enough to cover most situations. So I chose this one. It is slightly heavier than I was expecting, certainly a lot heavier than the traditional ladder I was replacing. However the aspect I am not sure about is the rung spacing, normally I am used to about 10-12 inch spacing, these are 15 inch spacing so beware. For some this may be too wide. You certainly feel the difference when you climb the ladder. My worry would be descending when you are at its full range.Otherwise I am quiet satisfied with the purchase

You get what you pay for...
It’s useful enough and easily stored if you don’t use it at full height - but at full height it is horrifically (and terrifyingly) wobbly. I got it to clean my gutters, but I won’t be trying to use them for that height again! If you are brave and/or very light you may be able to use it at full height - otherwise just assume that only three quarters of the height is useable...

Good height
This ladder does what it says and is tall enough to clean my gutters
