They are well made and fit right. It's just my own frustration that down rated these to four stars. I could not find full sock felt liners in the correct size for my old Sorel Snowbear boots. So I found these to put in under my old worn thin liners. They do their job well enough, but with both old and new, the added bulk makes it more difficult to put on the boots.

These are very nice. They are thick and substantial but soft enough on the feet to use in slippers (without socks). So far I haven't experienced any pilling or bunching or other problems that would make them uncomfortable. They lie flat and add good warmth and cushioning; they conform to your foot but don't flatten down too much at all.But order much larger than you think you will need. They are **narrow** in the middle of the foot. I wear a women's size 8.5 and ordered a men's size 10 (equivalent to a women's size 11.5). So, I ordered up by 3 sizes! I had to trim off the length and a bit of width off the toes - but barely any at all on the width otherwise (about ¼ inch off the width of the heel and nothing at all off of the middle foot). They are easy to trim with scissors. It is much better to get these too big and trim a bit than to get them too small and narrow!

Easy to use insoles add warmth to my winter boots.

The insoles in my slippers were shot so I bought these as replacements. Use the old insoles as a guide for cutting the new insoles. Very easy to do and they fit perfectly

I have a new pair of hunting boots that did not fit well ( a little big). I put the insoles into them underneath the existing insoles and now the boots are my go to boots. They are very warm and comfortable. I will have to take the insoles out and dry them over night like pack boots but who cares. Feet stay warm and comfortable. i will buy these for stocking stuffers for everybody I know and maybe the mailman.

I bought these to go into my Xtratuf boots but they are very thick and make my boots too tight. My Xtratufs are 1/2 size larger than my normal shoes size but these pads are so thick, I used an older compressed insole in order to wear my new boots. Perhaps when my boots are broken in, I can use these or somehow break these in in another boot. If you order Xtratufs and want to use these right away, I recommend you go up a full boot size so you have more room.

I always have cold feet. Even driving to a ski resort in the car, my feet were cold in normal shoes and wool socks. I put these in my snowboard boots and could immediately feel how much warmer they are compared to the regular insoles. I did a direct comparison and it felt like stepping on the ground with normal insoles and stepped on a warm rug with these. When I went snowboarding in the PNW, the temps were in the teens and I added some toe warmers and my feet were toasty all day long on the slopes. I won't go snowboarding or skiing without these again.

Made my regular boots into noticeably warmer winter boots. These are aslo more thick then others, which is why i got them. Will probably buy more to keep as extra or to gift.
