This coax was easy to install and a great value for the money. Very pleased!

Using a watt meter with hand held transceiver, I found that by wiggling the cable near the connector, at either end, to cause an open/short condition with 100% reflected signal. Since this happened at both ends it seems a poor connector crimping processes must be causing the problem. Replacing this cable with another tested 100% good even when wiggling the cable. I have returned this item for refund.

Price was right but it is fairly stiff difficult to coil after use. It does serve the purpose if you plan to install it and leave it.

The first length of coax had was shorted between the center conductor and the braid, so I wanted to send it back. Amazon said not to send it back and they would send a new coax right out. I got the coax today and it is also bad like the first one. They need to get ahold of their manufacturer and have them check their work.

I purchased this cable for an antenna connection. The cable had an intermittent short between the center conductor and ground. Returned it for a direct replacement. When I received the second cable, I checked it with an ohmmeter first before laying the cable out. The second one had a solid short between the center conductor and ground. Verified proper operation of my meter by checking several know-good cables.

I got this cable and it had a short out of the box! Thankfully, I did not transmit using it as I would have blown my transceiver out. Avoid it!

The junk that was sent to me was not RG8 class cable at all.
