Another Winner From Pat Foster
When I buy one of Pat Foster's books I know it will be well-written, well-researched, informative, and entertaining. This one was no exception.

A great read for truck and International fans. I would prefer more ENGINE pictures and history. I recommend this book.

A Mild Disappointment
This is a pretty good book, as far as it goes. The problem for me is that it doesn't go far enough. As an enthusiast of highway rigs, I was looking forward to photos and accompanying text on some of IH's greatest successes, most notably the COE Emeryville. I had to go back numerous times to check, because it was inconceivable to me that there would not be a single shot of this worthy truck in what is penned as a "complete history." But there is not. Same holds true for some of the west coast brutes, predecessors to the Emeryville. If you like small to mid-sized trucks, you may well enjoy this book. But if you, like me, were wanting at least a representative sampling of the larger rigs from the 50s and 60s, best to give this book a miss.

A wothwhile addition to a truck fan's library about a massive brand which is often forgotten about outside USA.
A good read, but it has a tough predecessor: the better " Milestones"
