These Glass Containers Are Fabulous!
These were received as a self-gift, for our home use. We LOVE our friends, BUT grew tired of our friends returning our Tupperware STAINED. This happens every time when the gift contains tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, or other “stainable” food products. (We’re of Italian heritage.) We would always present the food gift saying, “Please, remember to re-heat this [food] in a separate container.” I’d venture that 80% of our friends took the “easy way out”, cooking the food in our plastic containers! When the plastic containers were returned, they were permanently stained and I tossed them! UGH!These glass storage containers with tight fitting snap-on lids, fit our frozen foods MUCH nicer, and the food lays flat (like chicken cacciatore). These containers are easily stackable, the glass is thick enough to be durable from freezer to oven, the snap-on lids keep air out, and the containers are refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave + oven SAFE! I can verify that the seal is tight! I dropped a a closed container of hot spaghetti sauce on it’s side and there was NO leakage! The clear glass provides a clear view the contents, even while frozen.Out of habit, we remove the plastic lids if the glass containers go directly into the microwave or oven for heating the food. For the microwave, we place a “microwave cover” on top. I don’t’t know if the plastic lids are microwave safe. (We’ve used a microwave cover for years, that keeps our microwave clean!) My family member uses these containers for carrying food to work, as well. He now prepares, packs + refrigerates several days worth of lunches in these glass containers. He’s commented that the food stays as fresh in the glass containers, as the food was on day 1! He previously was buying his lunches on a daily basis. These containers have saved a us a bundle of $!In fact, we’ve been SO HAPPY with this purchase of GLASS storage containers, that we were gifted the plastic storage containers (by another family member), of the identical brand, in various sizes*. To my shock, warm/hot spaghetti sauce has been poured multiple times into the plastic containers and the plastic containers DIDN’T stain, either! These are QUALITY products, by a QUALITY brand. I urge you to buy these. You’ll be 100% happy with your purchase!* As a Senior, my hands shake, my grip loosens + I drop a LOT of items: glasses, plates, silverware. etc. I can lift and carry with 1 hand only, as I must hold on to the counter, furniture, railings, etc., when I walk, due to neck and spine issues.

Nesting Height is 7” total
The plastic ones all cracked after about a year of use, so we swapped to glass. They feel sturdy and should hold up. The lids are the same as the plastic ones. For anyone curious on how well they nested for storage: the 4.7c containers sit about 1.5” inside each other while the 3.2c containers sit about 1” inside each other. Both stacks total a height of 7”.Packaging was perfect and kept the glass safe.Among other brands, this was the one that offered just square containers and no circles or variety packs at a fair price. Will check back in and edit the review if anything changes.

Love these!
Love these. I didnt understand the plastic tops at first but in stacking them in realize its safer and easier to not have to make sure you don't clank them together. They stay pretty and clear and the tops haven't dulled even in my crap hardwater. They keep stuff dry and fresh. Including tofu and strawberries which are my biggest offenders of water gathering at the bottom.

Easy to clean, to store, and seal tight.
I like these larger glass containers, easy to clean in the dishwasher, and seal tight. They stack in the frig, saving room. I use two when making a larger batch of cole slaw or dough for pizza. Overnight dough doesn't push off the lid as it rises the way it does in simple plastic containers.

Sturdy glass, but not too sure about the plastic lid
Pretty sturdy. I once dropped it trying to move things around in the fridge. The glass container (with food and lid shut tight) fell out of the fridge, and I manage to cushion the fall with my foot so it bounced off and hit the wood floor not from too high a height (about 1 foot). My 1 foot was hurt! The container hit the wood floor from about 1 foot height did not crack or break, but 1 corner of the lid (plastic) got chipped! Food did not leak out.

Great product, but you can't have it all...
I love these dishes. The size is perfect for a one dish meal. The plastic lid is indeed leakproof. The downside of the leakproof lid is that it takes attention to clean it well because of the many curves, nooks, and crannies. The other characteristics I didn't realize when I ordered it was how much more glass weighs compared to plastic. Personally I prefer to place a paper plate on top of the dish instead of the plastic lid. That works fine for me. Neither of these characteristics are the fault of a bad design, in my view. It is just that you can't have it all. Leakproof at the price of curves, nooks, and crannies that takes paying attention to detail when cleaning. Glass to use in a microwave instead of plastic at the price of added weight. I see this product as a good value for the money.

Excellent food storage!
I looked for a long time at food storage containers and finally landed on these. They are durable, easy to clean, and are definitely better than plastic!
