I bought another folio case from Kanvasa here  Galaxy S9 Leather Case Flip Cover Black - KANVASA Pro Premium Genuine Leather Wallet Book Folio Case for the Original Samsung Galaxy S9 (5.8") - Ultra Thin with Magnetic Closure  and I love that one. But sometimes you just want the phone with a back case on (when you're stationary for a while, at a desk or table, or armchair). So I became aware of these folio cases where the insert is removable, and attaches via a magnet. Could this be the perfect combo I've been looking for? Not quite.The other case is slim and solid, with a very secure magnet keeping it closed (no tab). This one seemed like different material, not quite as nice leather, with a magnetic folding tab. But it was almost double the thickness of the non-removable one. That was a deal breaker for me so I had to return it, sadly. If they could make the other one removable, and still slim, it would be perfect. I've seen cheaper versions (Caseza Zurich), and more expensive versions (Burkley and Solo Pelle), but they also seem a bit bulky.This style is a great idea, and might eventually become the holy grail of the one and only case you'll ever need.

With only 154 reviews I was a bit skeptical. I found a cheaper case but it looked cheaper too so decided to bite the bullet.It was delivered this morning and I can honestly say I’m impressed. It’s very sturdy and everything fits well. The only real issue I have with it, if I was to be picky, is the detachable phone case does not cover the full phone. The top and bottom of the phone are not protected, but the corners and all down the sides of the phone are. If I drop my phone whilst in the flip case it would be fine as the flip case is bigger than the phone so would take the impact. But, if I drop it out of the flip case and it lands upright on either end then I may have a problem.Apart from that it is top top and I would recommend it. The magnet seems strong and the wallet side of it seems to have some sturdy plastic in too. With the magnet and the plastic in both sides of the flip case it does become a little bulky, but I’m going for safety over appearance. After all, you can detach the phone from the flip case when you feel it’s necessary.I’ll report back if it becomes shabby in a few days/weeks/months... years ha

This is my first review of anything I’ve bought on Amazon and I’ve decided to write one as this a really good phone wallet. Until now I’ve always bought cheapo phone wallets that last approx 6 months, but I decided my new iPhone 11 deserved better.The plusses are:The phone fits well (iPhone 11 version).The magnets that hold the phone cradle into the wallet are very strong. (cradle = the black plastic removable holder that is part of the in the wallet)The wallet clasp magnet is decent.The phone still charges wirelessly in my car (Prius) when it’s in the phone cradle.The credit card slots are a good size.Folded pound notes fit well in their compartment.The wallet is a decent quality build and the leather smells nice.Other Points:Can’t speak for durability as I only just received it.Worth what I paid for it.It’s a bit chunky, but I think all phone wallets are going to be.I never thought I’d take the time to review anything. Is this the start of a new hobby? 😀

Awesome quality. I was staggered by everything that this case brings with it. The quality of the leather is top class. And it is REAL leather. Not the Vegan imitation that is flooding the market. The magnet that holds the removable section is very strong. So no slippage there! The card holder slots are very tight. If more than one card is put in each slot the wallet becomes bulky when closed. One improvement could be a plastic window at the bottom slot so that photo ID can be inserted. I bought the brown leather version which is very smart. Five stars awarded, and well deserved.

It ticks all the boxes and is worth the higher price compared to others.It fitted my iPhone 12 Pro Max perfectly and even compliments the phone’s smart look.The magnetic effect is very strong to keep phone with outer cover and can only fall with vigorous shaking which I just experimented with in order to write this review.It should be this way in order to ensure ease of removal from outer wallet.The wallet also gives me some confidence that it would offer some protection against serious damage to the phone if it should fall to the ground.By the way I haven’t checked it’s wireless charging compatibility so can’t verify this claim yet.Overall I am very happy with purchase so far.

This is a great cover for phone and to use a walletAnd i love the fact that the phone is detachable from the walletThis phone charges in its case on a wireless charger an like others i have had in the pastOthers i have had well the last one had a zip pocket as well but that made it bulkyWhere’s this one is nice and slim and slips into pocket wellWould recommend this product

This is, in my opinion, the best phone case design - the wallet protects everything well when it's in your pocket or out and about, but when you get home and don't want the bulk you just peel it off and use the hard case inside.I've knocked a star off though as the wallet seems to be made for a phone twice as thick? There's a lot of slack in the hingy bit and the clasp - weird.

Does exactly what I expected, well made and offers the option of being able to use the phone away from the case.Can’t comment on how long the case lasts as have not had it that long however it appears well made and sturdy and I would assume that it will give good service
