Great microphone for the money.
The best way to describe these mics is in one word. Smooth. Arguably, there are better mics but they cost an insane amount. These mics are crystal clear on the highs, with a controlled low end. They are great for jazz drum overheads, acoustic guitar. I even recorded some female vocals and they sounded great.You might think they sound a little thin in the lower mids. I don't think this is bad since lower mids can be problematic frequencies. Just add a little eq around 600-900 hrtz. and the mic brightens up and begins to sound like its expensive competitors.
