I had much higher expectations for these, esp. at the price point. I was disappointed. One side didn't work (it wouldn't unplug/deactivate), the other did and there was a noticeable difference, but it still was muted. If you are expecting, like I was, that when deactivated it would sound unmuted, you will be disappointed. Best way to describe the muting effect is: when activated it is like holding your fingers in your ears; when deactivated it is like your finger 1/2 out of your ear -- you can hear better but still muted.Other than one side non-functional, the quality/construction was good. Quality materials and construction. The ear 'hooks' can be removed, and just the bud itself can be used. Includes one set of silicone and one set of foam tips. As others have mentioned, no visually/tactically discernible way to determine if mute is activated or deactivated -- push the button, if it unmutes then it is deactivated -- that is the only way to tell.I wasn't satisfied with the price performance and returned the plugs.

In being somewhat of a self-proclaimed hunter aficionado, I'll admit I was skeptical if SportEar X-Pro earplugs were for me or not. Not only do I like the comfortable fitting, but also I love the performance and style! It wasn't until recently that I realized being someone who practice targeting in shooting ranges and participate in several hunting trips per year, that while I loved the live sound I hated the accompanied RINGING into the next day, not to mention realizing the long-term affect these high decibels have on my hearing...This is where SportEar X-Pro earplugs came in and solved my issue with superior sound barrier without the ringing. And the best part about SportEar X-Pro over other types of earplugs on the market: DESIGN. The low profile shape and neutral color of the plugs make their appearance near non-existent. The second design aspect that I love is the clever “click on” and “click off” switch. This earplug is strong, convenient, and low profile. Cure the hearing hangover by buying yourself some SportEar X-Pro earplugs; you will not regret it!

I bought these for shooting, mostly range time and occasional hunting. I wanted something other then the fat over ear protection. I like the way these fit, and they do muffle enough. I was able to shoot a 500magnum with no issue. With that said, there is no indicator to actually let you know if they are working or not. It's just a bit clunky of a design, but still a nice product

I bought this product a few weeks back and just had the opportunity to use them this afternoon. I grew up shooting in the small town of Norwood, CO where my dad taught me at a very young age. Back in the day when people wore "ears" which were BIG, clunky, bright orange, and uncomfortable. It has been 5 years today since my dad has passed, so in remembrance of what I've learned from him and to honor his memory I took out the guns he left to me and wore my new SportEar X-Pro series "ears." I LOVE THEM...comfortable, barely knew they were there, and so EASY to use. My 10 year old could even use them. I will absolutely be purchasing more to give as gifts to our family, THANK YOU FIGO LIFE!

These earplugs work remarkably well. The key is to select the proper ear tip and seat the earplug properly. I tested these with a .41 magnum and they did their job very, very well. I definitely recommend these earplugs.

Absolutely awesome seller with incredible customer service. The product works very well once you determine which size tip you need to best seal your ear.

I really wanted to like these, they would be a great low tech alternative to electronic plugs. However the push to click button doesn't seem to work well. There's no indication whether it's on or off and I honestly can't tell the difference when they're in my ears. They're also difficult to put in properly. I'm going back to regular plugs until I bite the bullet and buy some electronic ones.

Awesome product, definitely does the job. You forget you are wearing them.
