So far, so good.
My wife was looking for a USB flash drive for easily transferring files from her work computer to home computer and vice versa. I was interested in finding her something a little less boring than the standard flash drives. As she is a guitarist (and likes shiny, girly things), I was excited to find her this guitar drive. She was really only looking for around 2GB, but this one was only marginally more expensive than similar smaller drives, so I went for it. The other reviews were enough to make me a little apprehensive, but at $10.50 with Prime shipping, I decided it was worth taking a chance on.The pictures actually don't do this drive justice. It is much nicer in person, has a good weight to it, and feels durable. Like any 8GB flash drive, 7.45GB is actually available to the user. This is normal. Files copy to and from the drive quickly and easily. As for the other reviewers who said the fit of the actual drive into the guitar casing is too loose, this one is actually so tight it was a bit tough to pull apart at first. I don't think we will have to worry about it falling out, unless it loosens up considerably over time. If you order one and get a loose one, I would contact the seller and ask for a replacement. The chain that comes with the drive is long enough to allow you to wear it as a necklace, but I think it might be a bit large for everyday wear as "jewelry." The chain could easily be removed and replaced with a key ring or small carabiner clip. (Or a nicer chain if you do want to wear it around your neck.)My only caveat would be that if you are purchasing this as a gift, be aware that mine came in a plain ziploc-style plastic bag. I do not know if drives purchased from other sellers would include actual packaging, but I doubt it. This doesn't make any difference to me, but I know it might to others. It would be nice if it was disclosed as "bulk packaging" up front. All in all, my wife is very pleased with the drive so far. We will see how it holds up after a couple months of usage.

Sweet product
Was searching for a cute Flash Drive and found this. I'm not really one for bling or shiny things...but this is really cute and being a guitarist for 7 years and having three AP classes having to type so many essays and for projects and what not. Received it in the mail just now. It looks really nice. It's pretty heavy and your neck is going to hurt after awhile. Not going to lie...the bottom part where it has the flash drive will most likely fall because it's a pretty loose hold. And being a high school student who has to get through a crowd of other students to get to her next class....better becareful with it. Overall, the design is so pretty and I'm sure Ensemble Guitar will like it too and will be shocked to see it's actually a flash drive. My suggestion to keep it together is either returning it to get one that has a tighter hold on it like what others have done. Or, putting tape on the back of it or doing something crafty yourself ;)

Love it
I love this, it's not one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. But it is one of my favorite flash drives right behind my Betty Boop flash that I keep as a backup at home. I can use this for my college papers. And it has no problem staying hooked together. I've all ready had family and friends come up to me looking at it and when I show them it's a flash drive they all think it's pretty cool. The only cons I can see after a month in a half of use. Is that it's to long of a chain for my tastes. And two flash drive hangs kinda heavy to the chest. And third it doesn't match a lot of my clothes. But you'd definately wanna get a sturdy chain like this one it comes with if you want to change the length of it like I plan to do.

Flash Drive Guitar Necklace
This flash drive is beautiful. It is a bit heavy to wear as a necklace for too long but it works out nicely for short term use. My only concern is that the attachment ring, welded on to the guitar body that the chain runs through, is on the top half of the product. It is NOT the half that contains the flash drive. In my opinion, the two pieces do not hold tightly enough together when it is worn as a piece of jewelry. I placed a small piece of duct tape ... ha! ... on the back of the guitar to help hold the two pieces together for additional security. I also slid a jump ring through the welded on ring so that the piece would rotate 90 degrees (to the correct position) when worn as a necklace.

Rocking USB Guitar Bling!
OK, so my teenage daughter said, "Dad, I really want a flash drive to carry around my stuff, but they are all so BORING. Can you get me a cool flash drive?" Having never thought much about the style of a flashdrive, I had no idea. Since my daughter is an avid guitarist, I figured maybe there are guitar themed flash drives. And, yes, a google search revealed some. Quite a few of them. However, most are maybe 1 GB, made of cheap plastic, bad guitar proportions, pretty much ugly junk. In contrast, this item shines--literally--above everything else available on the entire web. It shines because it is 8 GB, it shines because it is covered with "diamonds", it shines because it is literally made of shiny silverish metal in perfect guitar proportions elegantly cast. So, here's my daughter's reaction when I gave it to her and showed her that this crazy cool necklace actually contained a flash drive: "Dad, that is incredible! Where did you find this! You are amazing!" Tough to get this kind of response from a fashionista teen. She loves her rocking flash-y bling.

A bit slippery, but works very well.
I had been hesitant to get the flash drive as many reviews had said that the flash drive portion of the necklace was very slippery and falls out a lot. The flash drive portion is somewhat slippery, but since it hangs diagonally on me, it stays together. It would take some pressure or force to take it apart if it hangs diagonally. It works very well and fits perfectly into the port in my Mac laptop.
